That is VERY telling. But don’t get it twisted. The extensive damage behind the scenes was irreparable.
*THAT* is why Parsons is out.
Very telling that they still offered him a contract? That is VERY telling.
Schottenheimer will be one and done, this wont do him any favorsat his "sources". Schottenheimer and Eberflus are sick to their stomachs right now.
Sure you can, he has HOF talent and you pay those guys to make your team better.Parsons is a selfish ‘me first’ guy who isn’t a leader
You can’t pay that guy that much money
Exactly…. Or also telling that JJ probably lied about it the whole timeVery telling that they still offered him a contract?
I mean….Eberflus did trade Khalilat his "sources". Schottenheimer and Eberflus are sick to their stomachs right now.
He offered what he was willing to pay. The number was a substantial amount. The player/agent wanted more. Jerry said "no, play out your contract and we can revisit later". Micah threw a fit, isolated himself from his teammates while at practice, and acted like a fool on live TV representing his teammates. I've never shied away from blaming Jerry, but the forced trade is all on Micah. Best of luck to him, but I think we just dodged a bullet.More lame excuses for the GM not getting the deal done, blame the player, blame the agent, etc. His job as GM is make the team better by signing the top players.
He messed around all offseason then randomly decided to trade him. No thought given to this. Worst GM in sports.
