The Eagles pushed for a Parsons trade over the summer

You are actually worse than an Eagles’ fan. We expect them to troll our fan base. But when one of your own constantly trolls it is a lot worse.
I just can’t “bahhh bahhh” behind shepherd Jones with the rest of ya, that’s all.

I expect better from this organization.

No, YOU are WRONG. My vision is clear and not full of crap.

They certainly have more than one DT worth having. Watch Ojomo and Ty Robinson this season if you don’t believe me.
Those two are serviceable DTs, but nowhere near the level of being a valuable trade piece.

I know you Eagles fans are feeling yourselves nowadays but this is kind of laughable.

I'll say it. Jerry as GM is stupid.
There's no way in hell, and I don't know what you're commenting on ,that Jerry should have even considered trading him to the Eagles ever not in March and not now..

I don't even like the move to the Packers but in good faith,

I believe Parsons and Jerry thought this deal was going to get done,

they didn't do this on purpose, they didn't let it linger

and by the way I thought we got a good compensation for him because he wanted 47 million most teams can't afford to give a bunch of compensation plus turn around and give him a record deal that doesn't happen often and there wouldn't have been that many more offers that would have been much better you can't prove it..

i'm sorry when a man wants that much money it's going to be hard to move a team has to be set up perfectly like one player away have the actual assets and be willing to do it and turn around and give forty-seven million dollars to a position player.

. That's quarterback money I don't know what people are trying to push a narrative here this is over a hypothetical is getting already 4 pages over something they could or couldn't have done This is insane can we stop the Parsons talk it's over the only time I want to hear about it is during the game against Green Bay that's it any other time he's the enemy now

it's over it's over it's over it's over

move on...

He has said before, his #1 wish would be to go to the Steelers not the Eagles. He also said, he cannot play for them cause they were such a rival to Dallas.
He typically had no choice where he went I don't think the Packers choice by Dallas was their first choice it was their only choice to get maximum compensation it just happened to be to an old rival and well that sucks they were the only ones that would pay that much compensation and turn around and give money to a skill player at $47 million which is quarterback money because they feel like they're one player away...

There's not a big list for that I mean there may have been some soft offers but this by far is probably the best offer they could have gotten whether it was March or now I realize in March we could have used the draft picks immediately and helped our team this year and that's the only negative of not getting it done during the draft that's it in my opinion that would have been the only positive is we would have been able to use that extra 1st round pick to pick up say a running back or something or packaged him into the second round and got a running back but that's it I don't believe you could have got much more for him in March I know people keep saying that but prove it...

The facts still remain he's a very expensive player that wanted a brand new contract with lots of guarantees and it being short where he can come back to the table so a team would have to still be in a situation where they would take that risk..

I think the cowboys did well....

I'll say it. If Philly was offering more and Jerry turned it down or Jerry didn't go back to Philly after GB made their offer............... he was stupid
If both first round picks were on the table, you would need to add a couple day two picks the be equivalent to the Packers two firsts. You can project the Eagles to be picking between 28-32 the next couple years and GB to be between 20-25. So they you would probably have to tack on two 3rds to be equivalent. As well as a player similar to Clarks worth, which Id call about a 4th

Well there goes Skip Bayless’s theory. In his podcast this week, He talked about how the Eagles intentionally passed on Parsons bc they didn’t want him and knew something we didn’t.

For it to be the Eagles, I would've made them acquire two 1st round picks from a bad team first, then give me Jalen Carter. Wouldn't happen, I'm sure, but that's my price. Haha!

CAN WE PLEASE JUST Stop talking about Parsons!!!??!!ITS OVER!!

you act like this dude somehow is already a Hall of Famer and he’s not even the best defensive end in football.

Yes, He’s a top five defender. Yes, he’s an elite past rusher, yes, but he has not been defensive player of the year.

He’s never led the league in sacks. He is not the best pass rusher, YET, in the league, you’re talking about him like he already made Mount Rushmore, who cares what could’ve been???

There’s no such thing; there’s no need for MORE discussion. especially it's a hypothetical we just keep this drama going....

They have used way too much space in social media to talk about Parsons. We had enough of this as cowboy fans since March.

It’s time to move on...

He’s hated packer now. He’s the enemy and he didn’t end up in the NFC East, I don’t like that he’s a packer, but the Cowboys didn’t have a lot of choices because the man was wanting a ransom amount of money and 47M months for a defensive end, so I hope they are happy.

He will need to put up 25 sacks this year and break the record to earn that kind of money..

so, let’s see let’s see it put your money where your mouth is, not on a podcast or SM post or ashowing up and talking at local sporting events... The irony here is this hypocrite says he's glad he's a packer so they could just concentrate on football are you serious!!!

You didn’t even have as many Sacks as Hendrickson, Demarcus Ware put up two seasons with over 18 sacks in a shorter seasons,

so let’s stop talking about the greatness of Micah Parsons. He has not arrived yet...

until he’s the best in the league and he has not. He is not worth $6.5 million more than Garett or TJ Watt and the Cowboys were good to have made this deal which was the best for the team.

No one man is bigger than the team and his agent and the antics They pulled with faking in injuries and the antics on the sideline with the body language.

It was time for him to go. I'm not trying to be a hater i'm going to miss him as a player on the field but everything else this was what was best for the Cowboys...

I, for one, am happy Parsons didn't get traded to the enemy egirls. Jerry is right to refuse to make that deal. It's bad enough Parsons stayed in the same conference.

Correct and looking at all the possibilities they got the most compensation they were gonna get from a player who demanded a contract like this and not a lot of teams were in a position to do it they needed to be one player away to go high risk that's a lot of money to give a non quarterback I think he's like 12th on the quarterback list...

I mean it's over why do we have to now go through hypotheticals we've been having this headache since March the Parsons watch his contract it just got worse each day and it just plateaued it exploded it's over the only time we need to talk about this is game day While the game is happening Parsons will be on the field so there'll be no other choice but to talk about him against the Cowboys unfortunately...

I wish it would have happened probably week 7 way to have more time to adjust get some players back on defense although doesn't matter against him but having him week 4 is he coming into AT and T,I didn't look, i'm assuming it's here...

Agreed. IF somehow Carter was available as part of the deal, I am very interested regardless of division. BUT they value the trenches so I doubt they would ever consider including him.
Exactly. They wouldn’t destroy their trenches for him. The story will be we don’t want to trade him to a rival….but the deal would never include Jalen. As a matter of fact I’d trade Jalen for Micah straight up:

They certainly have more than one DT worth having. Watch Ojomo and Ty Robinson this season if you don’t believe me.
I’m talking having as in trading for Micah. No fool would trade any of those guys for them and no fool said I’ll trade Jalen Carter because I have Ty Robinson and Moro Ojomo…..
