Well we know Eagles only have one DT on the roster worth having….and he’s arguably the best DT in the game. So chances are it’s probably a Jordan Davis and 2 1sts type deal and that’s worse then what we got from GB.

Jalen Carter and a 1st is the only deal I’d listen to from them and he’s an untouchable. I wouldn’t even pick up Howie’s call.

They certainly have more than one DT worth having. Watch Ojomo and Ty Robinson this season if you don’t believe me.

So we invested a 12th overall pick and we got back 2 firsts with a worth around that 12th pick. And a low 4th rounder.

So essentially for a low forth rounder GB saved the risk of drafting a player not knowing if he will pan out. Thats good business from their side and very bad from our side.

They probably told Jerry whatever the Commanders offer call us and we’ll offer more. Carter is going to be asking for $40+ million next March.

If you get the right compensation, I would have had no issue with him being dealt to Philly. 3 FRPs would have been just what the doctor ordered. Parson’s salary would have handcuffed Philly nicely.

There's a belief that a trade can be mutually beneficial. In a "good" trade, both teams are improved. There's not a winner and loser. That explains why teams don't like to trade within the division.

Dallas should have taken the highest possible offer though, Philly be damned. I'm glad they traded Parsons. I've been advocating that for a long time. That said- it's crystal clear that Jerry did not get the highest value possible.
