We need a younger QB next year

GM's have lost their minds with running QB's - low floors and high ceilings.

People will argue Brady was the best QB of all time and not 1 GM would draft him today, if he was coming out of college.

They don't know what they are looking for.

Brady, Peyton, Ellie all slow. How many SB combined?

The league some how has turned away from RB's, while risking injury and expecting their QB'a to run instead.
So let me get this straight...you are comparing Dak Prescott with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning?

You can’t carry on an intelligent conversation or debate the Dakzoids. It’s one of 2 things, they don’t have a clue about the QB position or they’ve filled their closet with so many Dak jerseys, they can’t admit they’re wrong. I just put em on ignore.

Wow….through two games Dak has been our MVP. He’s played almost outstanding. Without him we’re in neither game at all. The rest of the team needs to step up IMO.

And I’m harsh
I see no reason not to extend Dak for 4 more years based on his outstanding performance the last 2 games. He’s our only shot at winning a SB over the next several years. Use the draft picks to draft players like the ones who were around him his first couple years. That worked out so well.

I feel you’re parsing words. All of those guys made probowls after the age of 35+. If you’re playing at a good enough level for that, then it is a high level. Unless you’re tryna say which of them played as a top 4 qb in the league at age 35+ then you got it.
Most of those guys got pro bowls because of name

We're not going anywhere with Dak's contract. We're stuck with him for 3 more years.

Whoever we draft is gonna sit at least 2 years. It all depends on how bad or good Dak looks.
If you draft a QB then they will sit 2 years. If you draft someone who can help now like edge, OT or what ever then draft a QB the next year then they won’t sit 2 years

I know it upsets people who love to hate Dak. But he is currently after two games, the second rated quarterback in the league per PFF rating, which is by far the most comprehensive rating of a quarterback.
"Dak Prescott's PFF rating, he had a strong Week 1 and week 2 performance. He was ranked second in the league in both overall and passing grade for the season up to this point.
  • Overall PFF Grade: 89.9 (2nd in the NFL)
  • Passing Grade: 88.0 (2nd in the NFL)
  • Big-Time Throws: 9 (1st in the NFL)
  • Grades Under Pressure: 86.9 (2nd in the NFL)
  • Turnover-Worthy Plays: 1 (tied for 3rd)"

Got to laugh at this post and the people who liked it. Propelled to the top 5 after barely winning against a team we should've dominated against.
Did you even watch the game? The defense playing so badly, combined with Dak playing so well, is why the game was close and why we won a shoot out. If the defense had played as well as Dak, then Dallas would have won likely 50-0 or more.
I guess you didn't like our field goal kicker either? I think our field goal kicker is easily the best in the league, and maybe the best ever. I have necer seen anyone make 64-66 yard field goals look routine before. Dak is obviously the reason we won a game, the defense played horribly until showing up in overtime. As good as the 3 recent 12 win teams were, they would have lost a game like this where the defense did not show up. But Dak was not going to let that happen. The team only slipped from the recent stretch of winning 12 three years in a row, because Dak got hurt. The last time he was healthy he was the odds on favorite to win the MVP, with LJ having a brilliant late game against the 49er's and eking out the MVP from Dak. And the Dak we are seeing now, the same guy who was MVP worthy the last time he was healthy, is better now. He has a fire and a "not going to be denied determination" in his demeanor that I have not seen before. That determination added to the MVP skill level, is why he is the PFF second ranked quarterback in the league after two games.

"I think Dak is getting old" Maybe take a chance on a younger quarterback"

If you want to rank him top 5 in your book, go ahead. Me personally, don't think 2 games warrants ranking a 1-1 QB that high.
