We need a younger QB next year

Dak did ok I guess

But it’s pretty clear to me we need a younger more mobile QB next year

Dak is to slow on even play action passes, he’s just getting old
I don't know about another QB starting next year, but Dak's predecessor needs to be on the team sooner than later.

I wouldn’t have any issue using one of our fitst on a OT at all. That would lower the cost of your oline because you could move on from Steele. That could get you a very young oline and improve the talent ypu have. Obviously if a stud edge rusher is there I’d go with that first. But the draft isn’t about position so much as talent acquisition. Drafting for need gets you taco and mazi types
I don't think they need to do that I just don't But when we get to the draft we'll know our biggest needs and we'll know who is some of the best on our board but right now if you want to make a change put Nate Thomas in that's all we heard leading up to the season that he's doing really well and that he's deserved a spot if 1 opens up well young man step on it up that's up to the coaches I don't know who he replaces Guyton or Steele but he's there if they got a nut sack this coaching staff would just yank the one out they thinks the weak link and put in Nate Thomas..

Like the Giants had to yank that dude out of the game because of all the penalties and he just mentally was just not good and the backup looked pretty good the rest of the game he pretty much held his own.. I know our tackles aren't playing that bad but if you want to make a change he's right there in front of you no need to be talking about next year's draft put Nate Thomas in make the other guy you pull the swing tackle the guy is there for backup...

we do need to get some new blood, but I have to say, Dak is playing superbly thus far this year.

after the last few years i did nto think he had it in him, but good for him! Perhaps his internal clock is getting desperate for a ring lol
Inserted we do have new blood they tried trade lands they didn't feel he was the answer they used draft picks on these guys and now Milton so why don't we give Milton a chance to develop a little before we say that they're not trying other teams do this too they're about 16 teams in this league that wish they had a starter and you want to worry about the Cowboys finding their next guy and stick them on the roster well how about all those other teams that brought three quarterbacks into the room and not one of them has been any good yet this year and some of the ones that are having sophomore slumps...

Not even easy to find a starter but you think the Cowboys are just gonna just like that snap their fingers as Parcel said you're gonna dial up 1 800 find a starting quarterback that's not gonna happen So they are addressing it it may not be in the manner that some of y'all think that they could just snap your fingers and we can replace Dak he's here for a reason he got overpaid for a reason quarterbacks are hard to find at his level even on his worst day prescott's a top ten quarterback.

Time is running out and maybe we did get lucky going from Romo to Prescott with no gap and that can happen again it Milton could be the guy we need to give him time to develop everybody in here has some kind of issue with patience....

I mean look at Joe Burrow who's his backup that guy looks like Cooper Rush He could probably handle it for a few weeks but why don't they have a better backup why did the Ravens feel like Cooper Rush was the answer They don't have a backup of the future I mean most teams don't because there's not enough of them to go around the only ones that have a good backup it's because they're starters not that much better so it appears that they have more options but they don't have more options like they said if you have 3 then you don't have one...

Other teams have spent decades like the Jets Pittsburgh yes even the Steelers are having a hard time replacing Big Ben And then you have the obvious teams the Browns and Carolina And yes even the Giants haven't solved their problem yet And there are plenty more there's teams that have been looking for their new number one Dak like starter for decades Washington may have finally found theirs Oh yeah and the Bears that's still questionable,

How long did these teams go before they even found a new starter let alone a backup of the future.. Denver got desperate with Manning and Russell Wilson they it paid off with Manning going to get one of these older quarterbacks that here we are saying we need the next younger quarterback and other teams are out there picking up players like Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones to solve their issues Come on people reality it's gonna be hard to find the next guy so enjoy Prescott we've been telling the haters that for years The grass is not going to be greener on the other side unless you get lucky...

For what? They are paying the starter 60 million and gave up a pick for the back up so what is another guy really going to do at this point? They need to draft someone in 2027 to groom to take over when the 2 current guys become free agents.

Not many, but Stafford for the Rams is 37 and still one of the best in the NFL.
And I'd say that Prescott given recent history been putting himself in better and better shape the dude's lean and built more like a defensive back than A typical older quarterback I mean remember Romo I mean the dude looked like a dad bod patrick Mahomes doesn't even keep himself in that good of shape..

Prescott has always been in great shape but this year he went beyond his normal stuff So I can see him playing for more years i'm not sure here but he's definitely is looks like he can do it physically and mentally....

I get the thinking and it all depends on who’s there. But the oline is generally the safest draft position. If a good edge guy, maybe a lamb type drop of a WR, those would certainly be better options. Who knows who will be there but I’m just saying replacing Steele with a quality tackle wouldn’t be a bad decision to me

This fan base is weird **. Find reas9ns to complain even after a win lol

It's not an age thing. It's an old Dak thing. I agree Dak needs to be gone but only if we have a suitable replacement. At this point, Milton isn't that guy though he does run well. I would prefer a proven veteran. Aaron Rodgers is only on a one-year deal at Pitsburgh. Maybe go after him in the offseason.
