We need a younger QB next year

The Packers have been pretty successful at drafting Blue Chip Qbs in the 1st round before they actually NEED one and ,God Forbid, trade for one as well

We do not have a SB team, and no matter what delusional fans think, a QB can not carry an entire team.
I have not said anything about Dak carrying the team to a superbowl by himself. I have explained elsewhere that I think the defense is fine and will only get better. They played well in the.second half last week and again in overtime this week. So they can play well. It is down to coaching to get them prepared properly at the beginning of games. And I think that will happen. So I think we have a defense and a good running game and a great passing game and great special teams and will win 12 or 13 games. And I see a mental toughness in Dak I have not seen before that I think will have him playing well in the pressure games which was his failing before. Hence a superbowl win.

Dak did ok I guess

But it’s pretty clear to me we need a younger more mobile QB next year

Dak is to slow on even play action passes, he’s just getting old
You're dumber than Zeke looks in that avi

So now Dak is to blame for the center not being able to hold his block on play action

Randy Galloway used to always refer to cowboys fans as football idiots

I agree. I meant at QB. They may sit even longer then that.
That’s why I’d wait another year to draft a QB. My thinking would be replace Steele in next draft. Then depending on what they do with Pickens either a WR. Edge rusher or what is there talent wise to improve the team. Then in the next draft take a QB and you can sit him a year then hopefully he’s ready

They can’t invest another first in this line but I mean if it’s like the 31st pick then I have no issue and it’s looking like that.

Been saying the same, a guy that is able to throw the ball, but can also run!!!!

The giants are horrendous and we gave up 500+ yards. That is with 160 yards the Giants had in penalties.

If you add in the penalties that is 666 yards. The defense is not fine. It has not been fine for a long time. It agree it will get better, not sure how it could get worse.

Okay, so you don't actually watch the games. Aubrey was great. But obviously, Aubrey has no chance to kick field goals without Dak. Dak was 15-20, 174 yards in the overtime. You just hate Dak.
I do indeed watch the games. It took Aubrey making a 64 yard field goal to take the game to overtime. 3/3 other field goals including another over 50 yards and 4/4 extra points. There's a strong argument that with any other kicker rather than Aubrey the Cowboys don't even get it to overtime let alone win the game.

Given the state of the Giants' defense on Sunday, particularly their secondary, if you put someone like Allen, Jackson, Burrow, Mahomes, Stafford, Herbert, Hurts, Goff, Daniels or Love in place of Dak do the Cowboys win...answering objectively...yes and in regulation.

Say whatever you want, you are not getting a position in the Cowboys front office...

First of all I didn't say any of that so apparently someone thinks they can change my quotes to be funny but it's the truth you don't like the truth the truth is our quarterbacks the last 20 years have been let down by the team more than they have let the team down they are good enough to win Super Bowls That is the problem It's part of it is the front office bad luck injuries but this team has not showed up when it's necessary to show up most teams elevate so your stars like Ezekiel Elliott the offensive line guys on defense that are supposed to be special you know his name the guys over there with Green Bay wasn't he on the other side of the Green Bay debacle This is what happens in the big games our team lets us down not just the quarterback it's mostly not the quarterback.

Both quarterbacks are gonna struggle when you don't have a run game your offensive line is either not opening up holes or blocking but then they have 11 penalties in one game against San Francisco this is the problem we have had a lot of great players come along in the regular season do great things putting up stats but as soon as they get to the biggest games not even just in the playoffs but the big games against the better teams like in game one look what happens CD lamb 1 of our best players Might be responsible for most of that loss. Completely but it sure wasn't the quarterback this is the problem even if Prescott would have thrown multiple interceptions I'm still not blaming him for the game if you go look at the interceptions like you did in the Green Bay game you don't understand football if you can't break those plays down and realize those weren't on him it's simply CD Lamb broke off one route Brandon Cooks got interfered with prescott is pressing in those games because he's got nothing else And sometimes that happens..

It's OK that you don't understand football from the inside out and realize that hey 0 our quarterback fumble and had an interception he cost us the game and yeah I go back and I watch the Lions and San Francisco in that same 2023 playoff first round San Francisco is way behind at the half everything went wrong in the first half same differential same score same type of game except their defense and special teams and coaching found a way in the second half to shut the Lions down enough for the offense to finally get it figured out and they end up coming back and winning the game our defense let Green Bay score three straight touchdowns out of halftime that's the difference if you don't see it it's too bad I know football enough to know that it is possible to win games not expecting your quarterback to be perfect......

Seen it with my own eyes again matthew Stafford led the league in interceptions he had two interceptions in the Super Bowl and it didn't matter I saw Tom Brady throw three interceptions in the NFC championship game at the Buccaneers and they bailed him out that is what great teams look like they don't expect the quarterback to be perfect and when they're not perfect they come in here and say he's not good enough and that we need a younger faster quarterback no Tom Brady was neither fast nor young and won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers team who by the way were ready to win and it shows because now Baker Mayfield gets the benefits from that leftover tom brady team.

The same thing jared Goff leaves the Rams they were ready to win and what does Matthew Stafford do in Year 13 he comes over old and not mobile and wins the Super Bowl because the team was ready to win one They didn't need a quarterback to be perfect they just needed the quarterback to do their job well, not PERFECT.

We need a younger quarterback but our offense right now is in top five in yards and points probably should be chewing over right now while our defense has been the problem once again nothing big coming from the return game on special teams No turnovers no points from the defense so we can't be using that old narrative..

Once again. the quarterbacks will be blamed. and this team needs to fix the rest of the team not the quarterback at this moment... Or we need to have a guy like Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams I mean yeah we need one of them young hungry fast super quarterbacks because that's just an instant win.

Maybe it would be Milton or Anthony Richardson I mean which one do you want you want to be fast and young we need them to be super mobile because that's the key to winning in some people's eyes..

. No, that's a bonus, Followed even Jalen Hurts is a nice mobile quarterback he's getting it done because he has a great offensive line and they believe in running the football effectively first and it will open up things for his super team and his super defense to then finish the games they don't ask him to throw the ball 50 times to win if they tell him don't worry if you get an interception or a fumble we got you it don't matter that's what a team looks like..

I hate the Eagles but they're not asking their quarterback to be perfect they're just saying do your job when you're supposed to take what the defense is giving you and we'll take care of the rest..

Him being mobile is not why they're winning It's just an added bonus has nothing to do with his age because we already saw it matthew Stafford was not young or fast and he won a Super Bowl along with Tom Brady with the Buccaneers I don't know how many times might have to keep repeating myself you can win games with older non mobile quarterbacks if you have the rest of your team in order and we haven't had that in big games in quite a while.....

They can’t invest another first in this line but I mean if it’s like the 31st pick then I have no issue and it’s looking like that.
I wouldn’t have any issue using one of our fitst on a OT at all. That would lower the cost of your oline because you could move on from Steele. That could get you a very young oline and improve the talent ypu have. Obviously if a stud edge rusher is there I’d go with that first. But the draft isn’t about position so much as talent acquisition. Drafting for need gets you taco and mazi types

we do need to get some new blood, but I have to say, Dak is playing superbly thus far this year.

after the last few years i did nto think he had it in him, but good for him! Perhaps his internal clock is getting desperate for a ring lol
