I mean I can see trading Hendrickson but I don’t think they are in position to talk future with all the injuries Burrow keeps gettting. They are 2-2 they need to stay afloat until Burrow gets back. Plus they need to keep Chase and Higgins happy and right now at least Chase isn’t. They suffer when Burrow is out.Nah, Cincy needs a major talent infusion, losing out this year could give them some nice high draft picks to work w/. The opposite, they should consider trading off some talent that is coming up to contract time.
They are. Just got to hope they can get healthier as the season goes on.both of those guys are playing pretty bad.
They got Mahomes and Kelce so they will always be a serious threat to turn D's like ours into revolving doorsGood points. However, I think the Giants and Bears are going to turn out to be pretty decent teams this year. Plus, I don't think KC's offense is all that this year.
I think the Ravens D was over rated even before the InjuriesSo, injuries are a valid excuse for other teams but never a valid excuse for the Cowboys. Is that how this works? The Cowboys had 3 starters out on offense (2 1st round picks and a 3rd round pick). There are no built-in excuses for the Cowboys GM or coaches.
Seems like many here (not necessarily you) blame Cowboy injuries on the GM first, coaches second, and then a little on the trainer. Remember it was the GM who hired the coaches and trainer so blame goes back to the GM. Obviously the GM did not properly anticipate and did not draft the right positions and players.
A real GM would have depth at 2 to 3 levels at every position. A real GM would be wheeling and dealing draft picks and players to fill gaps. Right?
Are you still sticking with injuries as an excuse as to why the ravens defense stinks so far?
Show me 1 team that has depth at every position 2 to 3 players deep, just need 1.So, injuries are a valid excuse for other teams but never a valid excuse for the Cowboys. Is that how this works? And if they aren't talented enough, doesn't matter how willing and able and locked in they are.No magic wand will help. If players aren't willing and able or locked in, you have no chance. Regardless of talent.
Touche. Well done. Yep, it works both ways. Your correct. And if they aren't talented enough, doesn't matter how willing and able and locked in they are.
Micah with his big mouth was more distraction than producer. With Micah it wasn't much better last year. Those are facts. We are just not very good with or without him. Just my observation. Carryon. Lol
Perfect for radio or a podcast.Micah with his big mouth was more distraction than producer.
Gee ya think???Our D has allowed an average of 33 ppg; It is unsustainable
And without tha vital pass rush our already weak secondary is getting badly abused.Hopefully the bleeding can stop soon.
Diggs is playing, Bland is back.
Not sure what's the details on Hooker, but just got to hope with the 2 boundary guys back and slowly getting healthier we can have more consistency/confidence as the weeks go on.
Just not sure we'll ever have a consistent pass rush to force more ill advised passes.
Our players, as a whole, aren't great. But they aren't this bad. It's the scheme. This group was built for a different scheme.33 ppg.
What this means is our offence has to put up an average of 34 points each game to win.
No offence should work under this pressure.
Eberflus must go! His secondary coaches must go!
Our D reeks!
To wit:
164 yards rushing by the Pack?!?!
337 receiver yards by the Pack?!?!
I am Dak's biggest critic, but the lad deserves a break from our defence. He should not have an uphill battle of scoring at least 34 points a game.
Our anemic defence will keep us out of the playoffs!
I do.Gee ya think???
Rubbish. Our players, as a whole, aren't great. But they aren't this bad. It's the scheme. This group was built for a different scheme.
Need a few good starters. Its not just about depth. Maybe one of our players would start for any of the true contenders....Show me 1 team that has depth at every position 2 to 3 players deep, just need 1.
Went right over your head. No surprise there.Show me 1 team that has depth at every position 2 to 3 players deep, just need 1.
