Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

I've kept quiet about Dak recently because he is playing much better lately, however you don't want me praising him as that is a jinks!

Twice before I have turned babyface with Dak, and twice it lead to one and done with 1 and 2 seeds and very disappointing playoff losses. First it was his rookie year, then 2023. Both seasons ended by the Packers in the playoffs.

No, you want me staying heel so Dak keeps playing like this.

Quinn went and became a head coach of the Commanders. He was still under contract in Dallas he didnt' get canned. Micah left to go to the Packers.

Wait....you think Jerry holds people accountable and fires guys for failure?

He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. He did talk a good game but didn't always back it up on the field in crucial games. Him demanding to be the highest paid QB in the NFL when he hadn't proven that he was deserving of $60 Million a year.
Having said all that, this year he isn't proving critics wrong, he's just seems to have elevated his play and worked on overcoming those legitimate criticisms. He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

No ...... I think he has pet cats who sucks up to him and he loves ......and if a player does not suck up to him he will get rid of them....... to the detriment of the team.

And you think Micah who is the only person who has his phone number wasn't a suck up lol? You think Quinn wasn't who had chances of being a head coach but came back here to be an assistant? Interesting. I don' think you thought this through. I get you have an agenda but for someone who pretends to dislike Jerry....giving him credit for "firing" guys who aren't his pet cat is a reach lol.
 
Most people will argue to there blue in the face before changing opinions. I've come to the realization that Dak is not the QB to take us to the superbowl or win it. We should have been drafting his successor for years now and should have never been resigned with that ridiculous contract.

Now in 2016 I believe that Romo should have got his job back as that was probably our best chance at a superbowl imo, however Dak had a phenomenal rookie season building off the success of Zeke.

Always said early on in his career that he was the product of the talent around him and showed improvement each year. Also said we could win a superbowl with him if we built a proper team(both sides of the ball) around him as long as he drove the bust straight.

However, giving him a ridiculous contract the first go around coming off a major injury was moronic. We have now seen what he truly is and hes not that guy. Good/great regular season player but is atrocious in the post season.

It's not entirely his fault however he's been given top tier OLs, premier running game, elite WR's, above average TE's and etc. Sometimes multiple of these in the same year.

He's having a good year so far but mvp'ish? Hardly. Maybe looking at face value stats. 2nd in passing yards, 6th in comp%, tied for 13th with three other qbs for passer rating but 3rd in adjusted QBR rating. The offense has also put up two games with no points in the second half.

Has Dak greatly improved? Yes
Is Dak the product of the talent Jerry has provided him on offense? IMO yes
Good regular season QB? Yes
Good postseason QB? No

He just doesnt have the "IT" factor when it matters.

I think you are the one with the agenda ........ Micah publicly called out Jerry after Jerry did it to him ..... and that pissed Jerry off ....... just like the Coop situation. And if you think other players (including Dak) do not have Jerry's phone number ........ you are crazy.

But I do not care what you think to be perfectly honest ........ just pointing out that there are consequences for everyone but Jerry's favorites.
