Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

While I'm still waiting (not wanting) for the other shoe to drop, in the Jets game (even though it is the Jets) he was working with only one starter on the O-line, his #1 WR out, and no Turpin.

I think he's earned at least a week of support.
 
In a season when the over/ under for wins is 71/2 before you trade away your best defensive player I’d argue making the playoffs could be Daks greatest achievement at least since his Rookie season.

The fact we have never had a losing record when Daks been healthy could very well stay in tact when no one expected this team to be close to .500

And could be enough at this level he’s playing if offense stays on top of the league and leading in passing would justify MVP as success in playoffs isn’t necessary.

And finally put to rest that he isn’t core reason this franchise hasn’t had more success. In fact much like Romo era is probably main reason Cowboys are competitive with lesser defenses, questionable puppetry HC’s and dysfunctional front office.
 
He's still a low IQ low talent hack, nothing has changed. ''Elite'', LOL. Beating on crap teams like the Giants and Jets and looking decent early in the season is what he does best, we all know how it ends. This year won't be any different.

He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. Sorry to cherry pick...but I have asked about this before without any replies.

If the "strong roster" helped Rush be so much better....did it not do the same for Dak? Have you said as much?

More specificall...it was said "the defense rallied" around Rush?

Why not Dak too?

It's a bit moot at this point. Fun but unproductive. Looking fiorward?
 
I understand we all wish we had an Elite QB. Every franchise wants one .

But most of the league has to build around a franchise qb who’s less than Elite.

And those franchises need strong defenses , great coaching and solid front office. Most of which I’d argue we have failed on more than our QB. Of course we’d all love to have an Elite QB to try and bail out these lesser contributing factors.

I’d argue history is going to favor the Dak era is going to be more about a dysfunctional ownership has failed building a better team, organization and coaching staff around a better than average QB.

The fact is the Cowboys have a .500 record overall when Dak is out. And we’ve never had a losing record when he’s healthy .
