Prescott had a very shaky 4th QTR

Defense was extremely poor once again. But the Panthers gave up plays as well.

I am not blaming Dak outright.
But this is where QB’s should step up. And make those plays. Now they can’t do it all the time. But Dak and the play calling was not good on that series.

Then Young and his coaching and play calls stepped upped when needed.

I do blame the play calling more than the players. But Dak should have stepped up, seen the defense and that the play was in trouble.
Yeah I have to put 75% of it on the play calling DAk ran the play that was called.
And yes if somebody broke a tackle and ran for 30 yards we would all be happy.

But at some point I would hope that Dak could see these plays were being sniffed out and audible to something down the field.
This is usually where a veteran quarterbacks knowledge and experience comes into play and he makes a play somewhere down the field.
I would have expected after trying this twice he would have thrown down field to Pickens and at least hope for pass interference.

exactly , dak cant read defenses and cant audible .

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: 18 pages about the Dak final series but let's give sorry a_____ defense pass. 200+ rushing yards allowed. Wonder why it's hard to take some fans seriously.....
You are hurting also, but wonder boy could have won that game...but he froze.

Could Dak had played better? YES! But at least he showed up. The defense never even got off the bus! Did the Panthers even punt once? Maybe. All that time they had on offense vs our defense. Could of been more playing -scoring-opportunities for our offense. So, anybody pointing a finget at Dak need to point that finger back at themselves and sit on it. Because obviously you're not a serious Dallas Cowboy fan IMO.

Dak is not a great QB; therefore he needs better coaching and player contribution. On this forum the last 30 years have been laid at Dak's feet.
so you agree. Dak isnt MVP level , dak isnt elite , he isnt even top 10 .

60 million down the drain , team should have paid everyone surrounding dak to get better 'PLAYER CONTRIBUTION'

I agree. I don't care what was called, change the play. You are a veteran QB with years of experience.

No, I don't agree that his whole time in Dallas has been bad, but you get what you draft. I never thought of him as elite, great or very good. He has played above his draft status and that is his limit.

He looked fairly comfortable all game didn’t really get hit/sacked. On the goal line he then fumbled the ball for no apparent reason. Dallas had to settle for 3. For the rest of the quarter he had happy feet despite having plenty of time in the pocket. He didn’t use his legs , didn’t throw anything downfield.

On our last drive Dallas got the ball on the 46 yard line and Dak checked it down 3 times for minus 12 yards. On every single one of those plays he looked like a deer in headlights. No more MVP talk. I don’t care what the stats say, he was off when it mattered most.
Dak is inexplicable. He can look equally good and bad depending on when you look.

thats what im saying .. NOT a 60 million QB ,

so we agree

MC brings up a good point, regardless if you don't like him or his crusade.

When you are the highest paid player in the history of the NFL, you will always take the heat for not showing up when it counts.

No matter how the game played out, it was 0-0 with 8 min left, Dak had the ball on the 40, and had 3 downs to move the ball 10 yards. He wasn't even close.

Yes the defense sucks but when you are a 10 year vet making 60 mil a year, you have to step up at critical times.

This is something that's haunted and continues to haunt Dak. Not showing up at critical moments. And this is another chapter down that story.

name calling is all they got , they cant explain those -12 yards with the game on the line.

atrocious dak play when it mattered the most
That's not name calling. That's stating factual events being committed by a culprit. Go learn some English.
