That was where I was thinking this offseason, hiring a HC with clout to convince the Jones family what needed to change the way they team build.

However, with the success of some of our younger, offensive assistants, would mind a young, innovative DC. One that has zero ties with Schott or the franchise, but a good up incomer in the business like a Adams for defense.

there's a coach in or was in North Carolina with a young young girlfriend, maybe she can be our GM or something and he can be our coach!!

I would love to see that happen, but it’s simply not part of Jerry’s DNA. He has to be interviewed 300+ days a year. He has to constantly sign autographs and sexually harass women. If Jerry won’t close the curtains for afternoon home games, there’s no way he’s stepping down as our GM.

Yup. That's basically the mission statement of the Dallas Cowboys -- make sure Jerry is always the center of attention. Unfortunately, it's incompatible with building a winning franchise, but you gotta have priorities.
