I like this move. I think it helps us in the future. Looks like we are only giving up a 7th round pick and he is signed for 2 years after this year. He has 2 years at $13 million total left on his contract so he will basically cost $6.5 million a year. Does this really help this year? No, because we still have too many holes and we have lost too many games. This is a start to filling holes next year. It’s not like we were going to hit with a 7th round pick.
