Finally a trade for a DT that can stop the run and rush the passer and is under 30 years old. Cowboys have not done a trade for a DT since Tony Casillas before it was John Dutton. Casillas got Super Bowl rings and Dutton was in NFC championship games. Williams has 2 to 3 years left on a contract at 27 years old.

What did Jerry Dumbo GM Jones give up for Williams? Williams has been worn down playing the run this year as the Jets have played from behind a lot.

Judging by what was said yesterday, these deals were put in place before last night's game, just fully announced today. No idea why are trading picks after last week's debacle. The Denver game was the nail in the coffin for me. Just showed this team is once again a weak pretender that can only beat junk teams i.e. Washington, NYJ and NYG. The Washington win at the time seemed ok but they are a very bad team this year. And we are technically in the easiest part of our schedule. It beefs up after next game. Honestly, with this team, there are no easy games.
