For as much as many knock down Sam Williams while praising rookie edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku...

Do you believe Sam Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku have the exact same number (159 each) of passing rush snaps and the same number of QB pressures (20)?

Ok so how many negative.and ineffective plays? Eze is a rookie. Williams the bum who got pushed around by WRs is a Veteran. Williams is descending. Exe is ascending.

As long as he stays healthy bro, sky is the limit!!

Hate to burst your bubble, but Williams is currently ranked 109 out of 110 Edge players in the league (PFF, which grades every play).
EZ is a rookie, and ranked 21 out of 110.
EZ is controlled for peanuts for another 3 years, Sam will be a FA.
Guess which one will be part of the team's plans moving forward.

I challenge you to watch Sam Williams on every defensive snap. You can probably see Ezeiruaku as well. Sam's lack of football intelligence and effort shows on virtually every snap. Even the STs block last game was not due to his hand placement which was off but because the ball hit his helmet.

Dan Quinn used to get a little something out of Sam. He's not a fit in this scheme, imo.
He is not a fit.

Getting a little. He still had a lotnof negative plays. You need more from a 3nd rounder and he goes down in Dallas 2nd round busts draft history

Well in his defense he always had Micah in front of him. So the production was never gonna be there. 4.5 sacks in minimum snaps is pretty good. I think we got robbed of what he could become with last years injury. We needed stability in the coaching department and we didn’t and as a result we had a few guys who just got stuck never progressing or getting worse.

Good players. Talented players overcome. They are smart, hardworking and focused. They study their craft all the time. This game lasts only so many years.

His first year he had planned a victory party for the GB game....who celebrates a first round victory and where is your focus?

I sour3d on him then. Plus he made dumb arse penalties. And this year he cant even win one-on-one battles. That has nothing to do with change of scheme.

They both suck.

The end.
Why do you say Eze sucks? Because he has 2 sacks on the season? If so, maybe you should look more closely at how he plays his man on the O-Line, and how he has gotten better at it over the course of his rookie year.
