Cowboys activate Overshown and Revel

Right? I feel like fans are depending way too much on his return.

Honestly he should only get a few snaps each game the rest of the season. Ease him back in, and start preparing for next year.

That's what I keep thinking too. Hope we are wrong but seems way too fast
 
I would love Overshown to come in like gangbusters, playing as hard with a little more control and judgement
But expecting so much from someone that has not been in pads in a game for a year is not an intelligent take
Revel has had no camp and also no contact since his injury and he is a rookie
if they can contribute AT ALL it would be a huge thing; but to expect them to be world beaters is beyond stupid

Fan is still short for..."fanatic".

It's supposed to be FUN.

Sure...we get disappointed, sometimes even fed up. So take what you can get....and have fun with it. If 'shown can play almost as well as before...it should be!

He seems to be a freak of nature. And medicine/rehap is always improving. My hip replacement a few years ago had me moving 1st thing in the morning.

They took off my whole leg! ("Not the WHOLE thinig" the doctor said :laugh: )

This is the way I feel we should approach our expectations. Their play this year is more about getting their confidence in their knees back so their ready to go full steam at the start of next year and not waste a big chunk of next year trying to gain that confidence. We know the mental side lags the physical recovery.

Realistically, Cowboys would need to win 7 out of these last 8 games remaining to finish 10-6-1 to have a chance to make the playoffs as a wildcard. Cowboys are not winning the division with the Eagles continuing to pull off super close victories.

You don't understand who Overshown is, his gift, where he came from, where he's been, or how hard he works.

He's a bit faster now, a bit stronger. And has a higher vert now. That should tell you something about his rehab.

I went back and watched some highlights of Revel, that guy is going to be a stud. Perfect Prototypical CB we have been missing.
