Thru 12 weeks of the 18 weeks...so 2/3rds finished.
Almost every player has had a bye week, but not all.

Weekly Disclaimer on this statistical ranking (unlike other rankings, no personal opinions)
This does NOT say which QB is "the best"....ONLY how they have played so far this year.

"Combined Stats" just means using two key stats that --when combined--almost always point to the QBs having the best season (the eventual All-Pros, MVPs, etc)

Those stats are:
1) Standard QB Passer Rating Rank
AND
2) TD-Turnover Differential Rank:
Total TDs (Rushing and Passing) - Total Turnovers (Fumbles lost and Interceptions)

Here are the QB Rankings using Combined Stats thru Week 12:

  1. Stafford
  2. Goff
  3. Hurts
  4. Maye
  5. Prescott
  6. Allen
  7. Jackson
  8. Rodgers
  9. Mahomes
  10. Love
  11. D Jones
  12. Mayfield
  13. C Williams
  14. Darnold
  15. Herbert
  16. Dart
  17. M Jones
  18. Brissett
  19. Pennix
  20. Stroud
  21. J Daniels
  22. Fields
  23. Nix
  24. Murray
  25. Gabriel
  26. Mariotta
  27. Tagovailoa
  28. Young
  29. Lawrence
  30. Rattler
  31. Flacco
  32. G Smith
  33. Wilson
  34. Ward
  35. McCarthy
  36. Wilson
  37. Browning

Excluded due to less than 6 games: Wentz, Burrow, Purdy, Huntley, Taylor, Pickett, Ewers, Cousins, Rush, Milton, Dalton, Shough, Mills, Sanders, Winston

What I see
9-2
7-4
8-3
10-2
5-5-1

one of these kids is doing his own thing, one of these kids is not the same.

This year it's Goff not Dak who hasn't shown up in the big games so that's why no ones saying Goff is MVP.

Statistically he's good tho but the only real MVPs are Dak, Stafford, Maye and Mahomes

What I see is that when we score 24 points or more we are 5-2-1, and we are 0-3 when we score fewer. In those loses and tie when scoring 24 points or more, we gave up 30, 44, and 40 points.

Evaluating a player based on the team record doesn't make a lot of sense.

Proves Dak has been carrying this team all season long while the defense finally starts improving and Schotty doesn't cost this team more games than he already has (at least 2 of the losses).

And you could argue Jonathan Taylor but we know the MVP is typically a QB award. Because it would probably be wide if they give it to Taylor this year but didn't give it to Barkley last season. But Taylor's TD's almost double Barkley TD's after the first 11 games of 2024 season.

The real highway robbery was Josh Allen getting MVP over Lamar Jackson who's numbers was better than Josh Allen's in every department. I guess they didn't want to give Lamar Jackson the MVP award for a 3rd time.

Very true. FACT. We probably know why...

Defense points per game:

Stafford - 16.3
Goff - 22.1
Hurts - 20.5
Maye -18.8
Dak - 28.5
Allen - 22.9 poor Allen if he only had a defense.
Jackson - 23.7
Rodgers -23.9
Moutain Molehill - 18.3
Love - 18.4

Dak needs to work on his defense.

The team needs help on that side of the ball for sure.

Not sure what that has to do with these QB specific stats but I agree.

Good news is the D is better now than it was!

Our team is 5-5-1. Although that's not all Dak's fault, not even mostly his fault, no one is really saying Dak is MVP, either. Only some fans around here and talking heads who want clicks.

Goff has a better chance that Dak because of team success.

You're absolutely right. There were a few users on the game thread even during Turpins fumble, Flournoys missed blocked punt and Guytons goalline false start were still thinking Dak or trying to draw an asinine parallel when he had nothing to do with the play.
The hatred runs deep. Down to the roots and dna, sadly.

I think Dak is currently 16th in MVP projections.
Fwiw

Team success should not dictate MVP. What a horrible way to judge MVP. The judges have it wrong.
