How about the games Dak helped us win with 4 starting offensive linemen out and without CD, his best receiver playing..... and also playing on a team with a bottom 3 defense for most of the season???

Oh speaking of quarterbacks. There are quarterbacks yall consider elite and better than Dak. Dak isn't elite, but he led wins over some of the quarterbacks that are elite or considered elite.


Explain your logic against those facts.

It's always the same excuses for him. The Eagles, and Chiefs dropped multiple interceptions from him. Guess his luck ran out

Didn't say main problem but he certainly was a part of it and he certainly wasn't a solution given the fact he's the highest paid player in the NFL. Do you think his salary and skills cover up and cure enough of the rest of the teams deficiencies? He's paid to. Can't wait.
 
Nah Dak played well enough to win today. GP was very lazy today. It's like he had the Flu or something. Ferg was a huge let down. And don't get me started on the offensive line and blitz pick up. I still don't understand the blindside tackle cannot be the worst player on the offensive line. When Guyton (who sucks) went down we should have planned to move Tyler Smith to LT. We have better guards who can come in and play then OT's. Get you 5 best offensive lineman on the field. This is one thing I hate about the Cowboys we don't want to move guys from their spots. Remember in 200/2021 seasons when our offensive line suffered injuries. We moved Zack Martin from his guard spot to the tackle spot to get our 5 best lineman on the field. No way Thomas is one of the 5 best healthy offensive lineman.

He played a bad game. The lazy will look at the stat sheet and see he threw for over 300 yards and the ints were the fault of the receivers.

I wouldn’t say he played bad but in games like this he always does a few dumb things.

The pass that sailed 10 yards out of bounds when Lamb was breaking open was bad.

But the sack and then scramble he took on one of those late drives were so stupid as it cost us time. In both situations he had time to just toss it away and save time but instead he just ate the tackle and watched seconds run off the clock.

In the end it didn’t matter tonight given the Eberflus Special, but you should be able to expect your franchise QB be smarter than that in tight spots.

He could have played better but had Ferguson and Pickens gave a little better effort; he wouldn't have looked as bad. Ferg and the OL killed us in this game. At the end of the day, if your QB brought you back to being only down 3 points with 10 minutes to play, he did his job. He can't do anything about the defense giving up two quick TDs when it matters the most.

Dak’s play rises and falls with his weapons.
Every QB plays better with their WR1 on the field — but with Dak it’s a night-and-day difference. When CeeDee is out or limited, the whole offense shrinks. When he’s in, Dak looks top-15. That’s not “elite QB carrying,” that’s “elite WR boosting.”

Protection isn’t optional.
People keep saying, “He won with four linemen out!” Cool — but when the line is banged up, Dak’s efficiency, mobility, and accuracy all dip. It’s not hate — it’s literally his career pattern. If he needs a fully healthy, top-tier O-line to look elite, then just say that.

Team wins aren’t QB solo missions.
Some of those wins came when the defense showed up, or the opponent didn’t. Dak isn’t trash — he’s just not the dude who elevates everyone around him when the roster gets thin.

Give me the names of other weak armed quarterbacks who have done that.

I've never had a problem criticizing Dak when his performance was deserving. He was under intense heat all night. Look at the pockets Goff had vs what we saw from our OL. Our tackles were terrible. They were alternating turnstiles. Lions DEs were harassing Dak all night. Despite that he still managed to lead the offense to 30 points.

Our special teams outside of 17 were awful. Our defense was awful. I'm not going to call out Dak when there are so many others that should be shouldering the blame. Dak played well enough to bring it to one score and the defense allowed the Lions to enforce their will. The offense wasn't pretty, but it was effective enough to win this game.

I see everything you've said. Ok cool. Dak isn't elite.....

So why are elite quarterbacks like Mahomes, Herbert, Jackson, etc possibly missing the playoffs this season? What's their excuses?

Dak, who isn't elite led wins over elite quarterbacks like Mahomes and Hurts this season. Care to explain how this was possible?
