Hurts went 0-7 in the second half of Sunday’s game against the Bills. In Week 4, he was 0-8 in the second half against the Buccaneers.​

It's not called great defense. It's called butt-crack ugly offense. Second half. 17 yards total offense, Hurts 0 - 7. And they got away with it because of who they played. Buffalo couldn't score until 5:11 left in the fourth quarter. Superman Allen just couldn't elevate it seems. Both of these teams look unlikely to go far in the playoffs.

And why couldnt Buffalo score all game? I guess it was bc they just didn't want to? What was the reason Buffalo who was the 5th ranked NFL total offense, and 3rd ranked scoring offense averaging 29.2 pts a game. Couldnt score more in 4 qts than the Eagles who are the 19th ranked offense did in 2 qts?

Nah the Eagles defense didn't have anything to do with it at all. Nope!

In case you haven't been paying attention, the Dallas defense is light years worse than the Packers, Chiefs and Eagles. It ain't even close. 75% of opposing offenses drives over the last four games have resulted in either a FG or a TD.

A prerequisite to winning a close game is to be in a close game. Philly wins their share of them. The Eagles are not anywhere near as good as they were last year. Their version of an “off year” is double digit regular season wins and qualify for the playoffs.

The worst thing that could happen is a wildcard blowout loss at home (likely). It will only compel them to make bold roster moves. Some teams would respond by getting worse if that happened.

If things go that way then i guess we can pencil them in for the Super Bowl next year. Being thats their MO whenever they lose wild card playoff games. But i would bet good money the Eagles don't get blown out in a home playoff game against anybody.

All of the playoff losses/blowouts have come on the road and against TB. With key players missing. They are getting healtheir down the stretch. The oline is the biggest problem to their offensive struggles. And getting Lane Johnson back should make some sort of difference.
