Philadelphia is about to take a step back. There were a bit of a smoke mirrors team anyway Washington is a mess and the Cowboys are a mess.

And 2025 was marred with bad decisions. There should be no reason that 17 games of Dak Prescott equates to the same number of wins as 2024. But Jerry found a bunch of reasons. It was never just Eberflus; He was just the worst one.

Yep it wasn’t a flawless year. If it was flawless I would’ve given a A or A+. Getting Quinnen gained some points lost in the Micah deal. I can’t ding him for Osa. Top 10 in pressures at the DT spot. Clark top 20. Quinnen top 3? Yeah I can’t ding him for that maybe next season.

He got rid of Diggs. Bland I have no problem paying. It was a fair deal that they can get from under 2 years from now.

The most egregious decision was Eberflus.

I can’t see what you’re seeing

Here is a hypothetical:

Let’s say for the 2026 season, Jerry gets a new D coordinator. This time though he is roughly the same as Eberflus. Then Jerry trades away a franchise cornerstone superstar; someone who would he really important in 2026 and by losing them it creates a hole that that position, like Tyler Smith or Ceedee Lamb. Except he doesn’t trade them in April, he trades them right before the season starts. And then his big FA acquisition is a LB. He pays him more than the cowboys have ever paid any LB; he’s a good player, not great, but Dallas is relieved to finally have talent there. But right after he pays that linebacker historic money, he goes out and trades for 2 even better linebackers, reducing the playing time of the expensive one. With Dak once again having a pro bowl caliber 17 game season, and the team picking up some more good players, the bad negates all the good and Dallas once again has a losing season.

Would you give this result a B or a C? If not, why is it okay in 2025 but not in 2026? Could you imagine if the Rams couldn’t win with Stafford playing well or the Bills won 7 games in back to back years despite a big season from Allen? This GM would be on the hot seat or outright fired just about anywhere else (maybe not in Cleveland or Arizona). But it’s okay in Dallas?

Me to give him a F for trading Micah and I can’t because I believe it was the right move. Micah resulted in Quinnen a top 20 pick and Clark. I’m not upset about that.

The entire NFL is aware of Jerry’s shortcomings as an owner and as a GM. Unfortunately potential coaching candidates are aware. The Giants may become more imaginative, Jerry won’t change under any circumstance.

Are the Giants stsrting to fall behind the rest of the league - traditional structure, falling behind the times? I think the problem is in the front office.
 
Our window closed after that embarrassing GB loss in '23 ..we should have rebuilt but didn't ..now it's more of the same for the next 3-4 years, mediocre-mid, one and done in the playoffs..Jaxson Dart brings hope and excitement to the Giants, good for them..hopefully we draft our young franchise QB of the future in 27 or 28 draft

Maybe the skins and giants can become superpowers, and Jerry can jump out and scream, "super power, tardism."
