Do you fear a Giants superpower rising in the East?

Fear is a bit strong. How about mildly concerned that they won't be such a pushover any more. Beyond that, they have to prove it before anyone should be afraid.

We shouldn’t fear the Giants wanting to get better… we should hope it lights a fire under Jerry’s arse and have him truly wanting to get better too.

The other three teams in the division seem more anxious to be better than Dallas does. That’s what happens.

We got a glimpse of it Sunday, whether you like it or not.

Jaxson Dart super star stud QB with moxie for the Big Apple.- Hollywood looks and a tad arrogant- tough too.

Cam Skatteboo - a guy we should’ve drafted a guy everybody in America lives, including people who play against them they recognize he’s a baller.

Malik Nabers - potential superstar wide receiver in the ilk of CeeDee Lamb.

Abdul Carter - should be on the level of Parsons at some point.

A very solid defense upfront, especially the defense of line pretty good linebackers.

An emerging offensive line with all the best left tackles in all the football.

A plethora of high draft picks this year, including the number five overall.

A new coaching staff on the way they’re probably gonna get somebody good this time even if it’s Mike McCarthy don’t forget he wins any wins. Big win totals during the season 12 wins is light work for him.

Philadelphia is about to take a step back. There were a bit of a smoke mirrors team anyway Washington is a mess and the Cowboys are a mess.

I feel like our window is closing again.
New coach.
Top 5 pick.
Skattebo and Dart.
The smug chaps and swaggerers round here will scoff at a shakeup of power.
Bloody hell We've been smug for 30 years and have only memories of the early '90s to sustain us.

I'm honestly not overly impressed with either Harbaugh right now.

The question is, does Jerry care enough?

Just last year, Daniels & the Commodes were the toast of town and some thought the rising power in the East.
Harbaugh is obviously a very good coach, but let's see how injured players do when they return, if Dart progresses or regresses, etc.

The Giants quietly have a very strong core to build with.

I would say
-Dexter Lawrence
-Brian Burns
-Abdul Carter
-Andrew Thomas
-and Malik Nabers (if he's healthy)

are all straight-up rare players. Almost a quarter of their starters are Pro Bowl level talents (Carter will be there very soon).

How big is a core on an NFL team, anyway? I doubt that Dallas has more than five or six of those "rare talents" ourselves.

New York has a "studs and duds" roster, where a lot of the players outside that group are terrible, but at least they've got the studs. And Dart gives a new staff an option at QB. To be honest, I don't think he's the long-term answer, but there's worse QB situations a team could be in. Even in the same city.

I think the Giants are a good coaching staff and a good draft away from doing some damage.
Abdul Carter turned a corner the last 8 games and is absolutely part of their core of young players. Plus, they have the 5th pick in this draft to add to their talent base. With Harbaugh coaching, i'm looking for a NE like turnaround. The NFC East is going to be crazy next year.

The Cowboys could be Super Bowl contenders if Jerry and Stephen decided to go all in. They just refuse to do so.

I'm not really worried about any other teams. I'm worried about ours.

Honestly it doesn't bother me because it'd just be another team beating us. If not the Giants, then the Eagles. If not the Eagles, then Green Bay. If not green Bay, then san fran. I havent seen any moves that gives me confidence we will be super bowl worthy or even passing round 2 of the playoffs any time soon.

Jury is still out on Dart. The Giants success all rides on him being a legit QB. Everything else seems to be coming together for them. They could use help in the secondary and another good WR, and now they have the coaching as well.

This Giants team always seems to rise whenever they get a good coach. I would not be surprised if they're a playoff team next year.
