Again there was a time that Jerry Jones set the market in free agency. Deion Sanders comes to mined and Charles Haley.

We traded for Charles Haley, he wasn't a FA signing.

I appreciate your humour and good nature, Coog, I really do - and this isn’t aimed at you personally - but speaking as someone who’s been closely bereaved 3 times in the last 4 months, I do wish folks on here would pump the brakes on the old “I wish Jerry would die” chat.

I want him out of the organisation as much as anyone, and sadly we know that’s likely only going to happen one way. However, none of that changes the reality of what we say when we wish someone dead. It’s out of order, to put it mildly.

We all know that this team needs upgrades at key positions, and one main way is to sign Free agents. With that said, we have to back track to Brandon Carr, who was a big money FA acquisition years ago. It was obvious that we didn't evaluate him properly, and realize he wasn't a good #1 CB, but he was solid and received #1 CB money. With Carr not living up to the deal, it seems to have left a disgusting taste in Jerry/Stephen's mouth for years! With that said, we go out and spend money this year in FA, and the players we get DON'T have the kind of season Jerry invested his money in them to be. How exactly do you think Jerry feels, and does that entice him to want to spend money in the years to come?



Jerry has FA anxiety, but we all know we have to evaluate correctly, and see what these players true talents are, and not just picking up people because they're out there. It's time to get over this fear, and bring in talent that can help this team. Once again i'm not advocating for us to sign EVERY big name in FA!!!!! Please give your thoughts

I think having Parker we can at least get a good analysis of the FA they have right now and he would be honest as to wether some are worth kicking the tires on

Jerry and his dimwitted sons don't do very well in the FA market because they don't have a clue on how to operate within the Salary CAP!

Here’s the thing that people need to realize. There are a LOT of talented free agents out there that coaches are writing off because they haven’t been in the league for a few years.

Look at Philip Rivers for example. The man was out of the league for years but then showed up all of a sudden to take the league by storm.

If this team wants to take things to the next level they need to look at the untapped talent that everyone else is overlooking.

Chief among them is Akwasi Owusu Ansah. Akwasi has all the physical attributes to be a lockdown corner in this league. Everyone and their mothers believed he would be one of the premier players on this defense for many years to come. But unfortunately the coaches werent able to take advantage of his talent.

Jerry, if you’re lurking the board, please… lets go out there and get him. Give Akwasi another chance and watch the man shine. It will be the greatest move of the off-season, maybe of the decade. Hands down.
