Better question, who doesn't fire them immediately upon failure? Who kept Garrett well beyond the spoil date?Who hires those coaches you blame?

That’s true but no it hiring them to begin with even betterBetter question, who doesn't fire them immediately upon failure? Who kept Garrett well beyond the spoil date?
Me too!!Ok...sorry about that. Didn't mean to insult. It is certainly just my humble opinion...that tackling was part of defensive woes. Not just scheme, but serious technique issues.
When I watched the playoff teams....they seemed almost recklessly violent by comparison.
Again...sorry mate. My bad.
Those can be true, but it's mostly lack of lateral agility/burst, and/or instincts.I do.
I also believe many of the players are not without blame. Be it bucking the culture, holding fellow players accountable, lackadasicial playing...etc.
It's early, but I'll second that one. Of course, Rockport will surely put up some strong, idiotic contenders for this prestigous award.2026 worst post of the year nominee
Jerry: That's it, I'm taking my ball and going home!!!Um ....
- Jerry is the only owner in the entire NFL who is also the team general manager ... and he sucks at it.
- Jerry has a gigantic, tumor-like ego that precludes him from hiring the best of the best head coaches who want some actual power because he can't stand to give up any real amount of power over his play-thing. It's like a child who won't share a toy with anyone else.
- Jerry is mystifyingly cheap every year in free agency, despite all his wealth.
- Jerry purposefully - (admits it openly) - creates "drama" around the franchise just for cheap, constant attention to feed previously said ego. That flies in the face of creating an actual winning culture.
- Jerry undercuts his coaches constantly with his weekly media appearances during the season. Few if no other team owners do that across the league.
In short, while players have underachieved and choked at times, coaches have done poorly, etc., etc. - there is no single cause for the decades of failure greater than the one at the top of the Cowboys' food chain - Jerry Jones. Period.
We never had a Super bowl contender during those three 12-5 years.I used to think Jerry was a good owner and bad GM. I now realize he's a very bad owner as he should have replaced his loser GM years ago. And no, I do not consider three 12-5 seasons in 30 years winning. Not for the Dallas Cowboys.
The STDs ate his brainNot blaming Jerry, is a family thing.
Nobody else can be blamed for ANYthing?Everything is literally Jerry's fault.
are you calling this a "drought" ChuckI used to think Jerry was a good owner and bad GM. I now realize he's a very bad owner as he should have replaced his loser GM years ago. And no, I do not consider three 12-5 seasons in 30 years winning. Not for the Dallas Cowboys.
Levels of blame.Nobody else can be blamed for ANYthing?
Jerry doesn't miss tackles or drop footballs. Yes..he hired them...but....why do players get a free pass...nothing is their fault...EVER?
Dude....
who again hires the players and coaches? But honestly, blaming Jerry for the last 30 years is letting the actual players and coaches off the hook.
Right. I already said "buck stops HERE". jerry hires and pays people. His job to hire and hold people accountable...right? Right.Levels of blame.
Here's what you're missing: Jerry is the one who shouldn't be giving them a pass.
Nobody else can be blamed for ANYthing?

Dude....

What? Why can't we criticze anybody but Jerry? I don;t get it but....it's cool. You think the players are without any fault at all. It;s cool. Wrong...but cool.
