2025 George Pickens' Cowboys Highlights...
Yet, some people want to trade Pickens? Crazy talk...

Yet, some people want to trade Pickens? Crazy talk...

I saw a similar post claiming Dak struggles against zone defenses and in the red zone. I posted stats showing Dak ranked in the top five in both categories and never received a response.Dak is in 9th place amongst all NFL quarterbacks for passes completed over 20 yards.....
And Dak is tied for 1st place with Matt Stafford for passes completed for over 40+ yards.
There was a poster here who claimed Dak couldn't find open receivers downfield and was just "a check down quarterback" this year.... so i asked him to explain his logic vs that stat i posted above.
Lets just say I've been waiting for his response for weeks.
There are some intelligent people here that make good arguments for their lack of faith in Dak. Whether I agree or disagree with them, I still respect their takes.
But why do the other bunch that I refer to as low IQ Dak hating cowards always post lies and post things that never line up with real life facts?
Thats the million dollar question.
The offense isnt perfect but its good enough to do some real damage. This is why they must resign Pickens.
I woukd add that part of it is that he doesn't consistently get good separation......Dak just had to get used to trusting him in those situations.Pickens catches were contested more so than the others. It is what he does. It is what he did in Pittsburgh as well.
Like Michael Irvin. When the ball is in the air, it is his.

Like you I totally respect people's opinions when they are backed up with actual facts. Dak Prescott has plenty of weaknesses, as all QB's do. But when they just pull stuff out of the air or make up things to prop up an agenda, it's a bad look for them and only weakens their position.
You're being a little hard on the fans. It's completely understandable that people who really, really wanted Dez to catch it convinced themselves that he actually did. It's called emotion overriding evidence. That's how dumb and idiotic these low IQ Dak hating cowards sound when they post stuff that is far from actual documented and visual proof.
This is why I had been saying Dak was playing different and I thought if they made the playoffs he wouldn't choke like before. Regardless, we need to sign Pickens.Dak and his WRs had an MVP type of season.
It's a shame their efforts were wasted this 2025 season.
Let's hope we can bring the same receiving crew back in 2026 and repeat or best their 2025 effort.
Ya'll know I'm not a Dak guy, but watching this still put a smile on my face. We did have our moments in a dreadful season.

And be paid a kings ransom regardless if you are or not.Your QB needs to be half monk, half hitman.

Notice how many of those “highlights” were under thrown? And the ones that was on target, the WR was able to continue running for more yards.First 3 long passes went to a guy named Pickens. Pickens made adjustments to catch the long balls. Is there any doubt that he needs to be resigned.
Sorry, I was only here to detect how firmly lodged the stick was.A catch/non catch is debatable.....
But to go on record and post that a quarterback can't find open receivers downfield and results to being a check down quarterback.....
Yet that same quarterback is 9th overall this season in passes completed over 20 yards and tied for 1st overall in passes completed over 40 yards.....
How does that make a person look to say this quarterback can't find open receivers downfield and mostly checks down. Do you detect any intelligence in their post?
Cowboys walking a fine line if they don't. Really making a big gamble. This is why they must resign Pickens.

Odd....I didn't see you say this in the "Dak had the most drops on catchable balls" thread. Maybe I missed it?A catch/non catch is debatable.....

See, folks? Emotion. He did catch it.
