Cowboys soon to be Free Agents on Offense

Not to mention he's a solid 3-down back. Also good to see Blue finally got some carries near the end of the season. We can expect a bigger load for him......
Yep and you can’t tell a difference between his first run and last run. And yeah Blue showed me enough to see more next year.

Mann, I'll take a step further and say trading isn't an option at all for Jerry, Stephen, Schotty and Dak. They have all made it as clear as possible that they want him back. All this trade talk is for the fans and media......

No way in hell you are getting rid of a player who cost you a 3rd rounder but is now an All-Pro after one year. Not happening.......
I agree with you. But if they aren’t interested at least get high value. But I’m with you. We can’t weaken the offense and take a step back while building the defense back up. It’s counter productive.

Who should we keep? All but Jones and Adeniji, unless minimum contracts for camp bodies. Wish we could trade Tolbert.

I could see us losing the majority of them to be honest

Pickens is the one who would be the most difficult to replace, so I’m saying him.

1b is Williams. I love the way he runs but he isn’t a game changer. Depends on how much it would take to retain him.
He's replaceable and there's a cheaper option he's in college right now!!!

Yeah walking is not a option. I’d even go as far as to say trading isn’t unless it’s for a first.
I don't like the tag and trade either, it sends false hope unless they're up front with him and say "we're looking at all avenues we could be trading you after we tag you!"

I was kind of high on Pickens early in the season, but he fell off quite a bit towards the end.
He wasn't getting the targets.

That's not his fault. Cowboys only scored 83 points their last 4 games as the QB did his usual thing.

You're going to get the 'you-know-who's' stirred up. They will rain fire and brimstone down onto you in their quest to prove it was #3 who is to blame for the last 4 games, not their supreme being.

There are people who watch the game and there those who watch the tape. And those who watch the tape criticized his lazy route running. Maybe they are on a quest lol

Pickens is tough. He's an elite talent but also a headcase. Handing headcases 30M a year never seems to work out long.
But the combo of him and CeeDee put defenses in such a deep bind that is raises his value to the team.
You can't really solo cover either guy.
Would likely be best 1-2 WR combo in the league for 3 years.

Keep the RFA guys. Hoffman and Bass are NFL OL and you can start them in case of injury.

Javonte is an easy resign to me. We need a proven pro there even if he ends up in a tandem with a rookie. Williams can handle all aspects of the position.

Rest are unimportant to me.

Overblown.

Jones and Adenjiji were both FA's, and were decent signings. But injuries derailed them both.
Don't be surprised one or both don't get an offer for a 1 year contract. If there aren't any better back up OL available for the right price in FA.
It does not mean they need to keep them. But for TC competition. Fill out the roster, and see what OL they may draft or get as an UDFA.

I was kind of high on Pickens early in the season, but he fell off quite a bit towards the end. I'm leaning towards letting him walk, but I have a feeling he will get tagged. Williams should be a keeper.
That seems to be what happens in Dallas. Is it the player or something else?
