It's not about Dak, CeeDee, Pick, or any individual stats. I don't care how yards, int's, TD's. The only thing that matters is results as a team. There's been a lot of good seasons by good players in the last 30 years without results as a team.

Assuming Dak's cap hit is $51.5mm, that is 17% of the cap for ONE PLAYER. This implies:

- He needs to do more with LESS
- He shouldn't need 2 all pro, expensive WRs on the outside
- He needs to make up for defensive and special teams deficiencies

FYI, he also BENEFITS by having an all-pro kicker and kick returner. (Yes, Turp had a down year...but one could argue his blocking was porous on the special teams side)

These folks love to argue that Dak's side of the ball is OK. You simply CAN'T DO THAT when he eats up that much salary. If you move all the money from marketing to product development, the product better be able to market itself.

I get what he is trying to say but he has to consider being a little more diplomatic.

Rather than Dak's "best to come", I would rather see a reduction in the number of passing plays and a more even distribution between passes and runs.

Statistically, Tony Romo best season came with the lowest average number of passes per game in his career. He had the #1 rating.

That's because it was 2014, the same season that Murray broke Emmitt's Cowboys record for rushing yards in a season. In effect, less was more. The Cowboys should strive to limit Dak's passes per game to 32 or less.

Dak's passing would be just one aspect of the Cowboy "best to come

Of course, this would depend on the growth of the offensive line with a productive RB.

However, Dak's "best" is completely irrelevant unless the defense dramatically improves.

A better way that Dak could be more useful in advancing the Cowboys "best to come" would be to concentrate on long sustainable drives that rest the defense and keep opponent offenses off the field.

Another great point. It's been proven that the less Dak has to throw, the more we win. Dak is not a guy you want throwing the ball 40x a game...more like 25-30 with an occasional uptick. He's not Burrow, Mahomes ...or even Purdy. Less is more.

So it really doesn't make sense to get 2 all pro WRs...unless you want Dak chucking it up 40x a game. No bueno.

Oh boy!!! You can't blame Dak for that!!! It was Guyton for being injured. Lamb and Pickens for not "selling out" on routes. Javonte for slowing down. It all "happened" to Dak. He's the victim.
 
Actually predict he has a back down to earth year. He has never had 2 really good years in a row. Look at his 10 years of performance. It's a good season followed by an Okay season. Either because of defenses stepping up, strength of schedule, injuries, etc.

Even the elites have difficulties playing great year to year.

Then he told me to post what he PM'ed me on the forum and I told him it would make me get banned. Sounds like TMC is taking lesson from bi-polar Rockport!

Yeah, he PM'd me basically stating that as a "brother" I have to support Dak or that I'm feeding into certain narratives by not backing Dak. This was the 3rd time he DM'd me.

See, in his pebble, feeble brain if your kid gets C's and D's in school, you're have to "close ranks" and attack the teachers, the schoolboard, the state and the janitors. I basically told him that his insulting and stupefying request proves THEIR POINT. Why are you changing the grade?

He's an activist not an analyst. And you can tell by his "you threatened me!" claim. I literally said, "I can post if you like"...that was a threat?

Well, this post is not meant to disrespect anyone, and I am an Native Indian Navajo. Anyway, one time Rockport told me in a PM that the reason I don't care for the way Dak plays football is because he is a black man. I had to laugh my butt off and replied to him if that were the case, I would have to "hate" (his favorite word) about 95% of the damn team if that were the case!

See, I have a lot of black friends, but I do not support BLM. I have a lot of white friends but I do not support the KKK. I do not see color, I see character. So, I hope this post does not get me benched, because I mean no harm. I served eight years in the Military and learned values that many need to learn in civilian life.

Oh well, I digress, so I need to go now, I have weekend gigs coming up with my Blues Band, so I need to get my band together in awhile to practice some tunes, so if I do get benched for a while because of this post, I will be back when the mods allow it to be. lol.
