Having two WRs at 30 mil+ is not how you team build (see the Bengals). If Dallas was smart, and they’re not, they’d take the Pickens money and sign the top LB and EDGE in free agency. Two first round rookies and a couple of middle to lower tier free agents isn’t saving this D.

It doesn't really help to hold out. If the player and the team don't work out a deal before July 15, the tag is locked in. By league rule, negotiations end. The player and team are bound by the tag unless the player wants to skip the season instead of signing. Players rarely ever do that.

I doubt he’s publicly frustrated until it becomes evident Jerry is getting up to his nasty negotiating tricks and a deal doesn’t look likely.
