The 2026 Dallas Cowboys Coaching Staff

NFL experience-wise, I am putting a lot of faith in Ken Dorsey.

Did I count 25 coaches? Damn! I don't keep up with other teams, but do other teams actually have that many coaches? lol. To many cooks in the kitchen, no wonder things never get right with this team! Why not just hire a coach for every player?
The World Champions have nearly 30 coaches on their staff (link). The number of coaches is not what is relevant. How well the head coach can delegate to their responsible roles, how well each one can perform their roles, and (most importantly) not be interfered with doing all the roles is always the question with this franchise.

Oh, you mean Jerry. Got it.

Why won't Jerry get some new blood in on strength and conditioning? Our boys keep getting trucked on the line when it matters down the road. Aside from technique, that's a strength and conditioning issue.

That is a lot of turnover and youth on defense? Too many old people the ship drys up. Too many young people the ship blows up.

This is why you need a Head Coach to walk around not named Jerry Jones.

They better get some solid veteran defensive FA starters that know the defensive system, and the draft better be successful with quality players that can start or challenge quickly to start.

We retained one defensive coach. Assistant LB Coach J.J. Clark.

Apparently we needed three guys coaching LBs.
