The 2026 Dallas Cowboys Coaching Staff

We retained one defensive coach. Assistant LB Coach J.J. Clark.

Apparently we needed three guys coaching LBs.
What's interesting is that with two of the linebacker coaches, it will be their first year of NFL experience. And we are moving to a more 3-4 hybrid defense. We're going to be placing a lot of faith on 1st year coaches to implement a scheme that emphasizes linebackers. Hope it all works out well.

One of them will be a depth player and in the Parker rotation
That was gonna be my next question. And that is, are they possibly player-coaches?

Can't be any worse than last year's linebackers.

Just sayin.

George Halas and Curly Lambeau both were player-coaches back in the day and I see no reason why this cant be done in the Parker defense.

NFL experience-wise, I am putting a lot of faith in Ken Dorsey.
You gotta love it when a coach cares......But then again...I think everyone in Cowboy nation will swallow hard knowing this was the guy that got canned because he couldn't get Josh Allen over the hump. Good luck Ken......Your gonna need it.
