Parker sold me with this quote

Strange how you perceive a healthy relation to reality as sour puss.

This reminds me of my girl cousin who needs to see life always as a field of roses. Normality - just like for you - feels already unbearable bad for her.

And its the same with her as with you. The sour puss is you who does it. But you dont even get it because your view of whats normal is so disconnetced.
I don’t perceive it as a healthy relation. No one likes to be around Debbie Downers.

The sad thing is, if he turns out to be a great defensive coordinator out of the gate, we'll only have him for a season or two before he takes off for a HC gig somewhere.
That’s the NFL so I don’t worry about that stuff. It’s a waste of time.

Not True it all, Its like your Nostradamus, and everybody around here knows the furtre, ..

sometimes it takes longer than that to build your brand and become ready enough to be a head coach, so it's not particularly true,

We'll see and when he will cross that bridge, we can deal with it..

that's what a good staff looks like, you know how good mixture of coaches they have on defense now same as all offense And for some reason you do lose your coordinator,

say on offense Klayton Adams can move up be a head coach here, and Riley could be an OC,

they just hired a very very deep Defensive staff, that have some reason in two years, we lose Parker, ylou can elevate somebody right off our own staff.

Same thing maybe in a few years Parker's ready to be head coach and they fired Schottenheimer I mean come on scenarios endless why think about that now that would have been more relevant if we had hired a guy like Brian Flores, Gannon, or these other guys want to be a head coach really bad it's like they missed it they would only been here one year guaranteed..

What you need you develop a new young staff, Sort of like 90s ,you could just elevate people you should have that system in place..

“If you can win 1st down and you’re strong in the fundamentals, we’re getting off blocks, we’re tackling, we’re attacking the football and we’re situationally aware those are the defenses that are successful.”

Best quote from Christian Parker presser that some here were butt hurt over.
A tired cliche as old as time is what sold you?

So, basically, he has a pulse and he's employed by the Cowboys is what sold you.

lol...go talk to a box of rocks and you will get the same answer. He is here just to get his rocks off. Sad.

Its not about being Nostradomus or anything, it just seems like thats what goes on alot around the league. I never said that it was 100% concrete that it will happen that way.

You know what’s such a cliché? Constantly questioning other people’s choices. People troll others, calling them sheep or followers just because they like something about the team they support, and it’s not even true. If I say I’m sold, it means I heard something that convinced me he might be right for the job—he talked about the type of defense and plays he wanted to run, his scheme, the concept of multiples, and carried himself in a clear, concise, professional way. He was well-spoken and delivered exactly what we wanted to hear. Sure, everything else still has to be proven, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be confident about the hire right now. This is actually the opposite of what many fans feared—they thought the front office would go with another retread, an ex–head coach, or an outdated hire. Instead, they went through an extensive process, did their homework, and picked a first-time DC that a lot of Cowboys fans feel good about. That doesn’t mean everyone’s fully sold, but the hire feels acceptable and encouraging. If you don’t agree, fine, but jumping in just to tear down positive comments is trolling. Start your own thread and explain why you’re not sold. Honestly, I was shocked when I heard about Schottenheimer—I didn’t like it at first and thought it was a joke—but once he got the chance to build his offensive staff, bring in Adams and Riley, and make other moves, my view started to shift.

Boy you haters are some miserable people. Just listen to yourself.

Im really curious to see if we go with Faulk or Styles in the draft. Personally I'd love Styles, but im also intrigued by Faulk. His lack of pass rush production last season is a concern but there is some context and his character as well as dominant RUN DEFENSE me likey.
What if Dallas can draft Styles at 12 and Faulk at 20 or 25.

I know you dont. And i know you dont feel that your realation to reality is disconnected. Thats why you need to think how you think of me.

All good. I understand and i already forgave you a long time ago.

I’m impressed with him. I’m impressed with Jerry this off season. Don’t tell anyone because I’d never want to admit being impressed with Jerry lol

Good Post Rockport, I am excited to see the 3-4 making a comeback, I myself loved this defense when Damarcus Ware was running past offensive tackles and punishing quarterbacks. Also, I loved the press conference with just Schottenheimer and Parker doing all of the talking as well. Parker is starting here with the right idea, basic defensive fundamentals beating the man in front of you, knowing where to line up and making tackles. Parker will probably teach his defensive backs to turn their heads around and look for the ball, something Eberflus never did.

I'm optimistic about the defense getting fixed either this season (unlikely it's completely fixed in one off-season) or next season.

It's not some boring retread that insists on outdated schemes and refusing to adjust to the strengths of the players.

I didn't say I was or wasn't sold. My comment is not a criticism of Parker in any way. I was merely criticizing the reasoning of a known hater and troll.
