The going rate or market price right now is about 10-15 mil for a HC with proven record.

It does feel different. I don’t expect 3-4 top tier FA, but we need 2-3 second tier guys at the very least. I think that’s doable. I would look at which hole I was least likly to fill in draft and start there. I don’t think downs is falling to 12 so safety would be a great FA target. One that’s gonna likly be out there our DC knows well. I think 2 of LB, CB, edge we can get in draft. Signing an affordable option at a a couple of those makes it easier to not reach for position in the draft. No matter how much is possible to clear it’s not just about this year so you have to think a couple years out. I wouldn’t restructure Steele. Leave him as is so it’s easier to move on next year. Lamb, Dak are perfect restructures, the rest you really need to be strategic

Schotty was groveling and throwing his units under the bus on to Jerry and Stephen right in front of everybody on Hard Knocks after the 2nd to last loss. Not a good luck IMO. I wouldnt have wanted to play for him and put my body totally on the line, if he did that stuff in front of me--personally. The man literally singled out special teams and the FGs.

I still don't understand why people who get in front of the microphone have to submit to their urges to just say things off the top of their head.

What happened to, "The entire team needs to do better. You have to win in all three phases of the game." I know people hated having Garrett here, but there were parts of the pressers he handled masterfully.

Apparently Harbaugh is making 20 mill a year for 5 years.

I don't think Jerry would even entertain the thought of paying a HC 100 mill.
