Schottenheimer on how they landed on Christian Parker

Amazing how our dysfunctional leadership in front office is willing to take more normal tactics bringing in assistant and positional coaches but won’t pursue the most sought after or up and coming HC’s most franchises go after .

Wrong and ridiculously idiot that sounds?? a lot, don't answer it that's rhetorical, And I don't think it's 40 coordinators for defensive coordinator, that's the entire process for the entire coaching staff they just rebuilt on the defensive side, read between the lines, or just read. I mean some comprehension in here is apparent, not giving credit to anything, it gets old but yet you are spacey, got your name correct....

Correct, I don't see where people don't see this and he wasn't talking about interviewing 40 people for defense coordinator, talking about the whole process of hiring Christian Parker, and everybody they hired for him ,and under him, to rebuild the coaching staff, both on defense ,and there were some on offense, they were very busy..

They got a lot of the guys signed early in this process, so they had choices their entire list which was about 5 defensive coordinators were all available and they chose Parker...

People just want to be haters they don't want to say anything positive give credit to anyone so they're going to say we're so ADHD scatterbrain that they just accidentally hired Parker..ughh!!:facepalm:

You know , most can think for ourselves, right?

we could say positive things about interview and what was said, at the same time we can make our own mind about the team this year, what the record might be, whether they're playoff caliber etc.

We're talking about the hire, if we decide we like to hire ,it's our own choice...

The Internet is not really good at translating dry humour. I made that statement "tongue in cheek" "so to speak".

Just struck me as humourous the way shotty stated he was the last of 40 and I can see the jones being glazed over by then and no one took notes. Plus they wouldn't interview 40 in a row.
 
Just watched some of the PC and i must say, What an intelligent young man we hired, Really excited to see him put his money where his mouth is.

Jerry is moving much different. Not sure if Shotty influences that or just the embarrassment of what Jerry put on the field last year. But he seems to be listening to others more

Jerry was in on 40 or so of those zoom interviews for DC and not being at the PC speaks volumes, He believes in shotty and how he is handling this team and I believe he is taking a step back and letting shotty and cp cook this coming season.

They really don’t have an excuse, since they have all the money in the world and there is no cap on spending for coaches. You would think by now that these two clowns would have learned their lesson, going year after year without being able to put together a championship team.

If there’s a clear definition of insanity, the Cowboys’ front office would be it.

I saw absolutely nothing change last season, except we were worse than the prior year. This offseason will determine the next season's outcome.
 
Parkers sage wisdom and command of men and culture, make Mike Tomlin look like Barry Switzer.

This articulate, young, clean, and well-spoken coach is going to prove alot of people wrong here.

Totally agree..

Every single coach.. strength and conditioning guys.. scout.. all the way to water boy should be one of the best in the NFL at his position

The top franchise in the world should be hiring the very best people every single time.. it's not like they can't afford it.

BTW I'm not calling out BS or CP.. I'm happy to give them a chance to see what they can do.

He was not the last of 40. He was last of the 9 coordinator interviews on zoom.

I mean how would he be the last of 40 considering a lot of the 40 were position coaches who he interviewed lol.
