Ok you put it much better. This is exactly how I feel. The irrational love for guys we drafted is killing this team.I have never understood the philosophy of giving a “project” player who needs “time to develop” four full years to develop….then after they do not develop, say, “let’s re-sign this guy”.

The sad thing is, they wanted Sam to take his game to the next level and would have gladly given him a 2nd contract. He couldn't do it .......plain and simpleHe is a FA.Trade or cut.. IMHO....
