2026 NFL Combine

Florida IDL Caleb Banks’ measurements are absolutely astounding! 6062, 327, 10 7/8” hand, 35” arm, 85 3/4” wing span. Never reached full potential. His tape is uneven. His pads rise far too much. He had the injury this season and there’s some maturing that needs to happen. But wait until he works out at that size/length. NFL teams with strong veteran leadership on defense will be awfully tempted in RD1.

Going to be a big year to test how much teams value arm length
i am willing to bet that most almost all teams do but Bain is such a good player when you watch him and his Trex arms dont seem to bother him.

Not sure why my last thread got deleted...but to summarize:

- Bain and Howell come in with uber short arms as expected
- Banks and Faulk are massive humans

I think what they are saying is that the Bain tapes don't lie, regardless of the arm length.

Exclusive: Execs Split on Jets’ No. 2 Pick as Rueben Bain Jr. Challenges David Bailey Buzz

Texas Tech's David Bailey and Miami's Rueben Bain, Jr. are top defensive prospects in the upcoming NFL draft. While Bailey is linked to the Jets, Bain has also gained attention for his versatility and disruptive play. Both players are expected to be top 10 picks and could make an immediate impact in the league. The Jets are in need of defensive rebuilding and may consider trading their pick.

The early pre-combine buzz at the top of the draft has focused on Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey, who is being linked to the Jets with the second-overall pick in mock drafts with regularity. But two longtime NFL talent evaluators, who have studied the defensive line prospects extensively, believe Miami’s Rueben Bain, Jr. Could very well be the first player to hear his name called once the Raiders select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the top selection.

Seems fans are more stuck on Bains arm length than the "experts". And the experts have more access to teams than cz posters. There's that too.
