2026 NFL Combine

This is actually interesting. A couple years ago prior to injuries he was talked up as a top 5 pick.

He was an awesome player right out of the gate. 148 tackles, 27 TFL, 2 INT, 14 sacks, and 7 forced fumbles over his freshman and sophomore seasons before the injury.

Anybody interested in a 5'8" cornerback?

From Dane...

D'Angelo Ponds CB Indiana
The size is the size — there’s nothing Ponds can do about that. An NFL scout told me during the season that Ponds stood 5-8 1/4 and 174 pounds with 29 5/8-inch arms, so I expect his combine measurements to be close.

But I’m more interested in his on-field performance. He was a state champion in the 100 meters (10.37) and should perform well in position drills.
Yup. Anyone who likes good DB play is interested in Ponds.

He absolutely glues himself to opposing WRs and is a heck of an athlete. He is one of the best pure cover corners in this draft. His zone awareness is killer. His route recognition is beyond excellent.

He’s ran a punt back for a TD. He has blocked 2 punts. He has gotten multiple picks every year.

He completely locked up the 6’4 Denzel Boston when they played, and picked off his QB twice in the game.

I've been pretty checked out of draft season so far, but I think R Mason Thomas has some special traits. Looking forward to the testing. Don't think with his size we will see a Ware-like rise to 12, but is 20 possible with a 4.4?

In this draft yes

Kiss any dreams of Downs goodbye. Dude may be Consensus #1

He's supposedly 6-2 249, the height seems fine if that's accurate. Arm length is more important to scouts. Lower height can give the pass rusher better leverage vs. OL.
