Rumors Cowboys front office getting into verbal disagreements with agents

amazing what happens when players and agents are REASONABLE. Did Jevontae drag out forever? So Jerry is supposed to just pay the kicker 10 million? Nearly double the next highest paid kicker? Supposed to just make Pickens the highest paid guy in football? This seems to always happen with COWBOYS players because the media just keeps writing more and more putlandish crap for clicks. So the dollar amounts keep going up and up and up?
If the FO didn’t talk so much to the media and kept things in-house, things might actually be better for Dallas.

Agents don’t respect the Cowboys’ FO because they don’t know how to negotiate and look at them as amateurs.

The clash of realities when the most valuable franchise is as cheap as the Bengals can't be lost on those involved in negotiations. Jerry is the modern day J. Paul Getty. I'm not going to lie, though. The thought of Stephen having his ear chopped off isn't making me want to skip lunch.

You guys kill me as if this front office does everything perfect!!!! Do you not think that super agents Todd Frances and David Mulughetta hate dealing with Jerry and stephen based on how they do their clients??? They wait, the bash their clients, they stall etc etc, they go through the media instead of the agents
They read Jerry and Stephen like a book. I’m sure Jerry says one thing and does the opposite, just like when he says they’re all in and then does absolutely nothing to prove it.

Exactly!!!! I wish we just had a normal owner who moved in silence, was aggressive and evaluated talent well. Did I say he would be a normal owner that let the GM do his thing, sorry I didn't mean to repeat myself! lol

Typical cowboys

Thanks for literally posting something that comes from a place called Rumors, The way I thought unverified actual rumor sources were not allowed but hey maybe it's me maybe I misunderstood but thanks we've already saw it it was there last night and the day before and none of us taken this seriously anymore....

the other ones like MLS and there's plenty of troll areas,

but yeah verbal disagreements that are completely private and nobody knows about them unless they're told, and I don't hear the front office saying anything!!

this is all the squawking and posturing, again, from the same agency, not the same agent. same agency..

i'm pretty sure Todd France and David whatever his name is from Parsons and now George Pickens..

they do this on purpose; this is posturing they're the ones releasing all this they're the ones talking, but I'm betting you're blaming the front office 0 that's right you said front office no it should be players and agents creating a hostile atmosphere by leaking this stuff to the public on purpose.

Let's get this straight this agency and all their agents do this This is part of their regular everyday business practice Yup it's strategy show me where the Cowboys have said anything coming from the start anything at all?

Until then it's massive amounts of rumors...

They did Williams.

Pickens was always getting the tag.

Aubrey? Thats on him if he refused to become the highest paid.
:hammer:Right Coogles thinks he's smart,

coming on here blaming the front office, when this is stuff that's allegedly coming from a wife a player and an agent which maybe is also a rumor but not a peep came from the star which would be the front office and the real source therefore this is all on them todd France and the agent for George Pickens and Parsons they do this as strategy and then they're trying to now have fans pick a side and apparently some of y'all really believe this came from the front office no it didn't this is a rumor based Twitter account just like MLS and some of the other ones that are not places to get real information from but it sounds like this is posturing from the agent and player and wife not the team therefore we need to flip this right now..

Say this is true they offered him seven highest paid kicker in the league and he turned it down because they want 10 and they're not gonna listen to anything but 10 sure blame it on the front office this sounds like a MoneyGram which is fine deserves to ask for whatever he wants but most people and I'd say 75% of the responses say 10 million is insane and they did ask for 10 million that part's true They're saying that they didn't get an offer for 7 and I bet they did..

Would have to be official on paper if the Cowboys say we're willing to pay you 7 and they say Nah don't even bother writing it up we want 10 here we are..

Making an offer that makes him the highest paid kicker is not necessarily considered low.
Definitely not lowballing at all And by the way it says rumor right next to the thread, I thought those weren't allowed, but we're trying to have a real conversation over rumors,

ridiculous,

we heard nothing from the front office or the star, therefore the disagreements are coming from the other side; the agent, the player, the wife, any agency using this avenue, once again to posture for more money, but at least they were honest most people say the rumors not that they didn't ask for 10 ,they're saying they didn't get an offer for 7-7.5, or they didn't turn an offer down for 7-7.5, isn't that saying that that number was mentioned and they said, no it's 10..

so therefore, an offer has not been submitted because why would the Cowboys waste their time writing up an offer if they're just gonna wrinkle it up and throw it in the trash.

.

Trade both of them.

A highly paid kicker is pretty much useless when your offense needs a TD on a majority of their drives to keep up with their defense.

Unfortunately, it is very believable.

If you offered to make him the highest paid and he still wants $3M more, I am pretty sure you would have some choice words for his Agent.

Sounds like we have offered Aubrey $7.1M.

If his Agent wants to gamble, put a second round transition tag on him, if no wants to give up a second round pick, then pay him the $5.8M.
