His cap number will get reworked. A fourth round pick next year is a cheap price to pay for a solid edge.

They're ZERO proof they were going to release him. And if they did, then what, get in a bidding war over him or Hendrickson?
I am not sure how I feel overall. But for a 4th round draft pick and a proven player, it is a good move. They will work out the cap hit issues.

There will alway be a mix of fans that do not like something, and those that do like something. For various reasons. And those in the middle. Right now I am in the middle. to the up side. The upside coming from that it is a 2027 pick at not a 2026 pick.

With DE issue partly addressed now, this gives them more options with the 1st 2 picks in 2026.
