Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Jalen Thompson

Thompson can play either safety spot so this gives them options.

Do they feel Bell can start for them? If so they can save even more by cutting Hooker now.

Better than what we had but still would rather Fitzpatrick for a bit more and a 7th.

Guess this is who we (CP) wanted.

We cutting Wilson now?

People are missing the Ryan Smith connection and how this signing will fit the overall design and structure to the defensive scheme. The FA signings are jus the beginning and will provide flexibility entering the draft.

He certainly will go in the 1st round. Excellent player.
Based off his production he's a solid 2nd round grade which gives a player a chance to go late in the first because there are usually only a dozen or so 1st round grades. But he wasn't a high enough 2nd round graded player that should go in the teens. That's elevating him for what he did in shorts.

He makes a lot of tackles.

Pass defense sucks. 102QB rating.

Should help clean up the run defense.

But a huge liability in coverage.

Need to see how the contract was structured.

Yeah, but his 102 QB rating was an improvement from the previous year which was 120, so in your face.

I have him going between 12 and 20.

I can tell you haven't watched film. Thieneman is a combine star but he is not a first round player.
Theinamen is a top 10 talent and best safety in the draft by far.

He will be a hall of famer.

I love this board.

Jacob Rodriquez 1st team all American balls out in the combine…he’s a first rounder.

Thienman, a 1st team all American also balls out in the combine and it’s “you don’t watch film”.

Arizona Cardinals safety Jalen Thompson recorded 40-yard dash times of 4.47 and 4.56 seconds during his Pro Day workout in July 2019. The Washington State product measured just over 5-foot-10 and 186 pounds, subsequently being selected in the 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft.
Cards
  • 40-Yard Dash: 4.47s, 4.56s
  • Vertical Jump: 33.5 inches
  • Three-Cone Drill: 6.98 seconds
  • Short Shuttle: 4.16 seconds
