I said I was underwhelmed with the video the Cowboys posted as "highlights" for Thompson. Somehow, that turned into "never supporting" the Cowboys...and low IQ.

Yup. If our defense was filled with 11 “solid” guys last year we would have been in the playoffs.

Good to see a secondary player added, he is a little undersized for a safety, but doesn't seem to miss many tackles. I don't know that he's a playmaker, but perhaps a play saver? Contract terms make him the 20th highest paid safety so don't think it was a reach.

He doesn’t make a lot of INTs. qb rating is 100+

But he makes a lot of tackles and is quick.

I want a safety that is not just slightly above a JAG for once.
