Every team has holes to fill. Eagles aren’t the champions. They face the same challenges most other teams do. I doubt they anticipate challenging for the Super Bowl this season. And they’ve been successful in recent years. Let them have a couple of down years. Philly and KC are boring. Eagles have a good foundation in place. Know the players they want to keep. Know how to work the salary cap. They’ll be back again soon enough.

Question is will the Cowboys FO get it done before the wretched Giants work their way into the Super Bowl conversation?

One of the worst defenses in the NFL and still were better than the Giants and commanders. Last year the defense played worse than it's talent. I expect a Big leap under this new regime with some much needed help.

It’s remarkably stunning how bad this has gone for us.

We thought we had the right defensive coordinator of fresh new face a guy who Jerry seemed to listen to a guy who had direction.

We heard all the names being bandied about before for agency started we don’t need to review those names.

Dallas, re worked a number of contracts and freed up cash - it was grand slam time. Finally, we were going to compete with the other franchises..

We had the worst defense in American football history last year absolutely horrific, unwatchable, laughable predictable trash.
Hand-picked by Will McClay and Stephen Jones two guys who couldn’t get a VCR clock to work.

So it had to be different this year, right it was gonna be different right … right?

My 87-year-old mother knew this team needed linebackers at the end of the season last year more than any other position.

We beat Wash twice and generally have owned them forever….Daniels got figured out annd started the injury bug and Quinn has a shelf life.
NY is a problem because Dart is really good and their WR will be back. They’ve had top 10 draft picks for a decade.
Philly is on decline…we almost beat them twice last year with one of the leagues historically worst defenses….also stole one of their bright coaching minds.
I’m not freaking out about any of the division signing a few folks, they also lost some. I still remember the year when every big name free agent conspired to sign in Philly, they were talking about undefeated and Super Bowl in the preseason only to finish with a losing record and miss the playoffs then blow it all up. It was beautiful.
This past Super Bowl showed a lot in case we forgot, coaching is everything, especially on defense where the unit can be great without 11 probowlers if the coaching and scheme are good to maximize abilities and mismatches. Seattle was coming off ditching their coach and QB only to win the SB immediately thereafter. They won with Sam freaking Darnold at QB.

As the money comes in. Not before. But the books have no division winner repeating next season except Philadelphia. That says little of the Eagles, but a lot about the Commanders, Cowboys, and Giants.

You certainly want to address glaring holes before entering the draft.

Not addressing them (as of yet) is a way to back yourself into a corner in the draft and often leads to bad picks.

Definitely still time to correct it, but looking like BAU so far.
