The rest of the division has blown by us

It’s remarkably stunning how bad this has gone for us.

We thought we had the right defensive coordinator of fresh new face a guy who Jerry seemed to listen to a guy who had direction.

We heard all the names being bandied about before for agency started we don’t need to review those names.

Dallas, re worked a number of contracts and freed up cash - it was grand slam time. Finally, we were going to compete with the other franchises..

We had the worst defense in American football history last year absolutely horrific, unwatchable, laughable predictable trash.
Hand-picked by Will McClay and Stephen Jones two guys who couldn’t get a VCR clock to work.

So it had to be different this year, right it was gonna be different right … right?

My 87-year-old mother knew this team needed linebackers at the end of the season last year more than any other position.

How many linebackers do we have today?
How many new fresh linebackers do we have today?

We always have some BS excuse some nonsense. The cowboy Dr this the Cowboys missed out on that the Cowboys were late on this. It was almost they almost got him. He came to visit but they couldn’t work a deal out yada yada yada do you want to see what the rest of the division has done with a very little crying and very little publicity and very little complaining and very little finger pointing they just went out and got the job done.

Do you think we could beat the New York Giants on opening day ? - not a chance we are dead last with our new defensive coordinator and Will McClay making the pics. We are an embarrassment.

Same old garbage with this franchise - dumpster diving at five below - while the rest of the kids in the neighborhood go high end game hunting;

It is too early , and you dont know what the plans are in the draft lol

Have they really though??? Don't sit here and act like the players they signed are all gonna be All Pro players.

Bah. - you’re still on that dude? I’ve been here for years. I live 25 minutes from giant Stadium. I despise them my entire life. It’s the honest truth.

I’m petrified about them catching our Super Bowl Win record.

Besides last year, you agreed with a lot of of my posts.

And getting back to this one specifically are you happy with our off-season so far?
Are you gonna tell me you weren’t excited to get Crosby? Or a big name on defense to match our big name big signing defensive coordinator at least to give this guy a good start.?

I mean, look what we did to our new coach last year we gave him almost nothing to work with.

Shambolic

Call me a Giants fan until you’re blue in the face. I don’t care.

I could talk history of both teams more than anybody on this board.

Throw the Jets in there as well.

I don’t care about really who those are those teams signed I care about who we didn’t sign.

We were told by the owner that we’re gonna be bold. We’re gonna make changes we went ahead and we adjusted salaries. We extended guys who I wouldn’t have extended to be honest with you like Kenny Clark I would’ve released him completely un impressive we traded away OA a very productive defensive tackle for a third round pick seems like bad business. We got rid of Solomon Thomas a very solid defensive death player. We’re not gonna bring back Clowney either who everybody loved. - let it make sense to me?

sometimes addition by subtraction is your friend, this is NOT a 1-year process.

stupid

You certainly want to address glaring holes before entering the draft.

Not addressing them (as of yet) is a way to back yourself into a corner in the draft and often leads to bad picks.

Definitely still time to correct it, but looking like BAU so far.
well as fans we lack accurate info on these things.
put yourself in say parkers position, do you think he is thinking they failed?
He may have several LB in the draft he would like to get.
Only they know their draft plans, what they think of players they have now, and the FA's.

C’mon man. You don’t have to be inside CP’s brain to make an assessment here.

Overshown can’t stay healthy. James is a question mark. Liufau is a jag.

It might be the worst LBer situation in the league.

Going into the draft in this position is a recipe for failure.

I think it depends on what we do the rest of the offseason. I like the coaching staff. I think we've got a solid offense. I think the question is what we do at kicker and what more we do on defence. I like our moves so far on defence, but more work is certainly needed.
