Dak has spent the offseason working with GP

Makes sense.... even if you say Pickens made Dak into a Top 5 QB..... Pickens was nowhere near Top 5 receiver status before Dak. So they both made each other.... a Top 5 QB and a Top 5 receiver and a garbage defense. You see what's wrong with this picture? In 2023, the garbage defense showed up against the Packers. In 2025, again the garbage defense showed up in pivotal games against, again, the NFC North..... the Packers, the Lions, the Vikings.

Pickens was not here in 2023 and Dak had a better year.

But you can definitely say Dak made Pickens a better receiver.

That's highly arguable. In 2023, Dak had those 3 games against the 49ers, the Bills, and Packers were the offense was completely held cold for the majority of relevant time. And in 2025, he didn't have many of those games...... the Chargers maybe but the season was already over by then.

I say he was better in 2025, but the defense was worse.

Dak had better stats with less talent.

Just wait till pickens decides to pout again.

Or you could say, Pickens played his tail off looking for a big payday.
The guy made a habit out of catching uncatchable balls.
Or they both should be thanking shoddy for the system he put together
That's what I think too. He was very motivated to show his stuff....for several reasons.

It's possible he's transformed himself and his career. We hope so~!
But often after the "motivation" wears off you revert to who you really are. We've seen "after the payoff" results all too often.

Maybe it was against worst defenses. Just can't say this year was better than that year. Therefore it Pickens did not make a difference.
That is like comparing apples and oranges.

Here is kind of an update if you want t call it that.

"With the deadline having come and gone for All-Pro kicker Brandon Aubrey to sign an offer sheet from any other team, effectively locking him in with the Cowboys for 2026, the next headliner to consider remains Pro Bowl receiver George Pickens.
Pickens is currently the recipient of the non-exclusive franchise tag, allowing him to negotiate with other teams but the Cowboys have the right to match, and if they choose not to, they'd receive two first-round picks as compensation.
It's not come to that point though, as the Cowboys and Pickens continue their contract negotiations, and All-Pro quarterback Dak Prescott — speaking from the Children's Cancer Fund Gala in Dallas — said Pickens is in great spirits, and the two have worked out together this offseason.
"No different than any other offseason," Prescott said. "George has been a part of it. He showed up and has been active, and has looked great. Super excited. I'll leave the contract talks to the front office."

LMAO...c'mon. Are you now admitting that Dak wasn't a top 5 QB until GP came into the picture? You have been signing our QB to endorsement deals for the last 9 years. For an objective and non-biased Cowboys fan, the truth is below:

- How on earth could GP be a Top 5 WR with the likes of Fields, Kenny, Mason, Russ and Mitch as the QB throwing the forward pass to him
- Dak has NOT had the likes of a RB1, WR1 x2 in the last number of years so yeah, the 2 KEY additions helped immensely
- You pretend Javonte had nothing to do with the success of GP and Dak? This is a disservice, and as much as I put Jerry to task, his signing was the single most important one in '25
- Put all your money on one side of the ball, and you get 2 years of 7-win seasons
- The big one: Dallas put $105 large ones on their D in 2025, they put $170 larger ones on their O. The Seahawks split the money wisely. So go ahead and blame the D LOL....

At one point, as a fan of a team you follow, look at the actual reasons as to why they are good vs bad. In the end, I love GP and how he stays, but imagine if we hadn't overpaid at a few positions and what we could have done on D? I dunno, do what the Hawks did? You kill me with your one-sided blinders on
