Sources: Giants trade DT Lawrence to Bengals for No. 10 pick

BTW when we traded Micah all we saw was media and fan out cry. But when the Giants and Harbaugh do it , its a job well done for all parties. Help me understand why the media drinks the "Jim Jones" punch up in the northeast but down here in the south its basically nuthin we do seems to measure up? Oh well.

Much less expensive then Lawrence with at least 4 yrs under rookie deal . If they start complaining yr 3 trade one or both for premium Picks .

Joe Schoen has proven to be a bottom feeder GM but i think Harbaugh holds the keys to the castle.
Yes, the draft picks are guaranteed to be cheaper but not better players. Only time will tell if this was a good move by the Giants

This is an interesting look back at those ppl that said had Jerry and co operated with foresight and traded Micah before the draft at what they could have gotten vs what they did get.

Smart move by Giants

They aren't ready to compete now. By the time they are, DL will be on downside.

Now....let's see if these use those pucks wisely, on important positions, or if they use them foolishly on glitter/glam positions

If they're REALLT smart...they'll trade back, and try to get an extra 1 for next year, when the talent will be higher probably

How come nobody is chiding the Giant front office for trading their best player on defense? That's weird..
Because they did it in April in exchange for a premium draft pick they can use to immediately help their roster. The cowboys sat on the Micah situation for months and traded right before the season started.

I had no issues with the cowboys trading Micah, the issue is the cowboys completely sabotaged their 2025 season in doing so.

Good point but did it REALLY sabotage us? We couldn't win with him. In fact, we routinely got blown out. Boat raced. I think all that matters is we did get it right. Made the trade. We can argue over timing but consider the fact we thought we had a preliminary deal struck. That's why the trade came later. Not Jerry's doing. Both sides made communication errors. The giants got it right because they were awful on defense. Good trade. All I'm saying is, why are they getting a free pass? No state of the Union by media? Lol. Its because the current media Darling is harbaugh. Until he ain't. Lol. Can't wait to see reality kick in. That team is rotten to the core.

Giants probably go either Styles or Reece at 5 then either Tate or Lemon or Tyson at WR. Seems like draft day trading has started early.

And there are some strange replies on Twitter saying that see what we could have gotten for Parsons That's exactly what's being said as if the Cowboys didn't end up with quitting Williams Clark and still a first round pick like we didn't get enough for Parsons if we'd have Done it during draft time we could have got more and I'm just sorry that's not happening that was a good compensation package Yes a 10th overall pick is really nice but they just weaken their defense and now have more needs and they're gonna replace it with what young players that are not proven yet how do we know that any players they pick are not gonna be a bust...

Quennon Williams and Dexter are on the same level I don't see if you're going to tell me one's better than the other the Cowboy ended up with Williams a 1st round pick and Clark.. Giants simply got a 10 And by the way it's a big risk for Cincinnati given the fact that they never replace Hendrickson yet now they just gave up an area in the draft where you could have picked the best defender on the board..

Yes they help the center of their defense but yeah where is all this crying that the Cowboys do for their own team they have not fixed the pass rush they did not replace Hendrickson yet they still have problems all over their defense from last I checked they have almost all their money on the other side of the ball does that sound familiar?

A small window does that not sound familiar so yeah I think both sides get what they wanted it's not an overpayment it's it's solid but people on the Internet saying the cowboys did not get enough for Parsons is insane.. It would be nice to get a higher 1 That's why you get two number ones and the player..
