Adam Schefter roasted for incorrect George Pickens trade rumor

Media guys think it's more important to be 1st than right. That's why they try and hide behind vagueness.

Right.
Which is why I wonder that so many do not understand this. Or choose not to understand it.

I still feel a long term contract, maybe 3 or 4 years, is not out of the question. There is 2 - 1/2 months to go yet.
 
HACK: is a derogatory term for a writer or reporter perceived as mediocre, unoriginal, or DISREPUTABLE.

This is the perception I have of Schefter. It started when Jason Pierre-Paul filed a lawsuit against him and ESPN in 2016.

The lawsuit alledged "privacy violations" and "improperly obtained medical records."

In 2015 JPP had a finger amputated after a fireworks accident. Somehow this guy (Schefter) gained access to his private medical records and tweeted them on social media...for all to see.

In 2017 both sides came to an undisclosed settlement.
Schefter never apologized for violating this man's privacy. Both ESPN and Schefter actually defended their actions at the time this took place.

The heat that he's taking for his information gathering methods is way past due--IMO

The rise of social media reporting is really getting to him.

He used to hog all these before because he was always front and center for this type of reporting on sportscenter.

We really need to run it back for at least this one year and see if the defense is vastly improved…
We don’t have another WR that can tandem with Ceedee. Flourney is good but really needs to stay at #3.

yeah, i don't particularly feel like dealing with another situation like "what if we kept amari this year" or "what if we had micah, q and pickens" etc. just run this thing back and go from there.

Actually all Schefler does is browse the web like us and see who's the fastest to post because if you ever pay attention to his breaking news its already on the web. Now.sometimes he's 1st but most times he's not.

I know he has connections but he browses the web, twiiter, Ig, facebook just like us
 
Serves him right for listening to Mike Fisher. Both of them deserve to be arrested for loitering and deported!

This Pickens thing really has your panties in a bunch. You seem to have everything nailed down pat and are quick to dismiss any other possibilities. Do you have a source that you aren’t sharing with the board?

I speak with logic, not hearsay and grade school rumors or enhanced minor issues.like you are doing.

What grade school rumors have I spoken about? I haven’t shared or discussed a rumor, indicated whether I wanted Pickens traded, or engaged in any of the back and forth

My comment is simply around how obsessed you seem to be about being right on every Pickens related thread. I think people get it, you want Pickens here. I do too unless there is a deal that is too good to pass up. But sometimes trying to come across as the smartest guy in the room gets old, especially when your opinion isn’t any more logical than many of the others.

And we do need to be open minded about all possabilities right now. I want Pickens here, I think the team is so much better with him on the roster, but just because he has signed the tag doesn't mean that we wont have issues come time for camp. Micah was under contract too and did a hold in instead of a hold out. It's a good sign that Pickens signed his tag, but I don't think it means that we are out of the woods on this yet either.

Not obsessed at all. Why aren't you asking the same question to those that are obsessed it getting rid of him. Because they want to overflow anything negative?
You just want to single me out for being the voice of reason, because you disagree.
