2025-26 NBA Season

I’ll
Be honest….i don’t see it with Boozer. Good player for sure. Easily could see a Elton Brand type
Career. I think Wilson has a star ceiling though. Jumper isn’t the best but he can develop that.
He can initiate an offense, is an excellent passer, can drive, shoot (near 40% from behind the arc), and is a 3 level scorer. Good rebounder, fundamentally sound, etc.

His knock is he’s not an above the rim player.

Defensively, he’s very fundamentally sound. Not going to be a great weakside rim protector. But the offense is incredible. He’s not even 19.

Wilson - you have to project more. He has the physical tools to be a good help defender. But he’s isn’t the creator Boozer is on offense not the shooter.

Wilson has some Jermaine O’Neal to his game.

I think Wilson’s floor is higher than people give credit for; but I also think Boozer’s ceiling is higher than people give credit for, too. Boozer also put to rest the concerns about size and agility (his drill time was better than Wilson’s).

Again…. I wouldn’t be disappointed at all with Wilson. But…. It’s hard not to be more enamored with Boozer.

AJ, DP, CW, and CB are tier 1. 1 of them will be available at 4. I’m not going to be disappointed however it plays out. Add to that pick 15, which is where it gets interesting.

I think the more interesting debate about this draft is the 5-15 tier. There’s a lot of good talent.

I’m really curious about what a Yaxel/Cooper tandem would look like…. If Dallas went that route.

Based on the videos and media clips I've been watching since Game 5, I think the Spurs Bandwagon Bus is here. You're all welcome to jump on. It only took folks all year to realize Wemby was the DPOY until Draymond Green's famous rant, so I'm not mad. It's been interesting though watching the media flip flop, especially as an equally big Cowboys Fan, and the bandwagon already would have started months ago. Yet Spurs are the team with the true team win culture and still valuing defense.

Hearing media suddenly say "Hey, Castle, he is going to be very good" or just about everyone realizing how good Harper is at the end of his rookie year. KJ won the 6th Man and had a big game in this series, but Harper really has been our 6th Man these last 2 months. Already seeing videos comparing his future decision to James Harden on those OKC squads with Durant and Westbrook, and that he should stay on the franchise.

And of course, everyone just saw the amazing maturity of Wemby in Game 5 responding like a pro to the ejection in Game 4. Harper 20, Castle 21, Wemby 22. Oh yeah, we still have a Fox in his prime, Carter Bryant and Champagne are quickly seizing that PF spot, with Bryant 20 looking like the future and some of that rim muscle that Wemby could use. Vassell in his mid-20's has decided to join the team ball and playing the best defense of his life. There really is no need to trade for anyone. They have the nucleus.

And suddenly people are predicting the Spurs beat the Thunder. Still could go to 7 against the Wolves. That's a good team. Spurs are going to head into the West Finals with momentum on their side while OKC opens rusty and rested.

I’ve been impressed with the Spurs but I mean they are suppose to beat the Wolves. They were favorites? The media didn’t think Wemby was DPOY? Not saying your wrong that’s another guy who Vegas has had winning that award for awhile.

Okc needed the break with all the injuries. I think the plan is to hurry up and beat the Wolves in 6 so they too can be rusty and rested lol.

I think we are gonna see the real Thunder. They know the Spurs are their biggest test. They matchup well too.

Spurs take down the best team with no home court? Future is scary.

Crazy thing is Thunder have the 12th and 17th picks. About to get even better smh s
