News: ESPN: Sources: Browns, Rams finalizing Myles Garrett blockbuster trade

If you take a closer look, the McVay/Snead combo runs circles around the rest of the league, not just Jerry and Son.

Prime example of the thin margin between winning and losing and why success cannot be measured in terms of championships only.

Thought they were supposed to be in purgatory as a consequence of that SB approach? Yeah well, they are now again the team to beat in the NFC.

They don’t even sweat losing the first. Most of their players were not acquired via that route.
Maybe it's just me....but they can have him. No way in hell am I giving up all that and a player going into his prime vs a dude getting ready for the slide down hill. Father time is still undefeated. Rams think they are the smartest guy in the room....when in reality....on this trade...they got taken to the cleaners. Les Snead just became the new Mike Lynn.

You have to wonder if the Rams felt pressured to make this move because they know they'll have to face our OTs in the playoffs.
Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele are going to screenshot this, print it out, hang it in their locker, and use it for motivation all season long.

At least I hope they do.......

Wow!
Garrett for Verse, and Clev basically gets a 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounder?
I'm so happy for Myles! Same for Demarcus Ware and Demarcus Lawrence - players you love and want them to win a SB after they leave Jerry's circus.

It’s hard to tell sometimes if Risen Star is just being sarcastic or a troll.

This is delusional, verse is much more valuable than overshown at this point in their careers. Overshown might be worth a 4th if we’re lucky.
Youre right about the Lucky part

I wouldve drafted for his position or bought in a good FA to directly play in his spot

All of that for a 30 year old, Thanks but no thanks

Great to see Garrett finally play for a winner. Poor Verse, from playoff ready to Cleveland!

I’d have done it if they didn’t do the Williams deal, but I’d actually rather have Q. A high end DT is much more rare than an edge guy, even as good as Parsons was.

Anyone ripping Dallas for not making this deal is probably ignoring that Cleveland may have been demanding a top starting player in return. Who was that going to be in our case?

Theres plenty of potential/upside to our edge room, but it’s only that for now. They have no significant trade value, unless they were inclined to gamble on Lawrence, similar to which I’ve never seen done (meaning, a first rounder dealt before seeing the field for that team).

Plus you’re taking on another massive contract, which could have impeded something like getting Pickens signed long term, etc.

That has to be a factor.

Jerry is not serious about winning a superbowl. We should have made this trade.
Thatta boy!! Another NFL team makes a major trade and you look at it as a chance to bash Jerry, the world we live in

If I had any doubt that it was a great deal for the Rams, it is gone now
