And their 2028 2nd round pick. Even as aggressive as they tend to be, they likely were not going to into the 2028 offseason with no pick in the 1st or 2nd round.

Hurts is an interesting case study on the whole bus driver vs top QB discussion. He has wild performance swings from looking awesome to just pedestrian. There are games where you are like WTH and then games like the SB where he smokes Mahomes in terms of performance.

From what I can gather, this is a big year for him. Philly hasn't committed to him long term with a new extension so another so-so year, under a new coordinator, and they may be ripe to end the Hurts run up here.

But usually when a guy is on the market like this, there are enough rumors around about various teams. It had leaked a few weeks ago the Rams kicked the tires but nothing really progressed far. And leading up to June 1, some of the more prominent NFL reporters noted how bizarrely quiet it was around Brown and that typically leaks happen with regards to teams sniffing around and making calls.

I mean it's impossible to even gauge this offseason as no one has played a game yet so it all has to be on the 2025 offseason where beyond the trades, we also appear to have drafted better than they did.

But you're telling me in 2014 a "little girl" had beer poured on her. Her father/adult, and you stood up, and 30 people surrounded you... Ok bud!

That 100% didn't happen. People say whatever on the internet. You can say you were there. And talk about all the other stuff that may have happened at the game. Which could have been at a football game, location anywhere USA.

But there is no way somebody "poured beer" on a little girl wearing a Cowboys jersey. And the women and mature adults around you disappeared. And only the 30 ppl and everybody else who wanted to fight remained. Absolutely no way. Especially at the Linc. Stop lying.

What's the point? Brown today is a much much better player than Cooper when we traded him and has a much more desirable contract (relative to the season). Plus we were about to cut Cooper and everyone knew it. The situations are not in anyway whatsoever comparable. I guess I missed the back and forth but what does Cooper have to do with anything? Brown got more than we got for Solomon Thomas also. Also unrelated unless I guess someone said we got more for Cooper than the Eagles got for Brown

A good portion of the fans are total s-bags to this day and if you in any way are defending them or pretending they aren't it pretty much means you are as well. My friend went down to a Dallas game with his family and ended up being part of a story a guy from the Athletic wrote about how Eagles fans treat opposing fans. It's disgusting and that was only about 4 (maybe 5 max) years ago. My friend is a big guy who was a D1 athlete and can take care of himself against any small group and leave them in shambles, but was with his family. It started in the parking lot and continued into the stadium. They just covered up their jerseys and kept to themselves. And no other Eagles fans interfered on their behalf in any way whatsoever to tell the offending parties what type of trash they were so you can pretty much stick that line of thinking too.

Many believe Smith’s production is the result of playing on the same offense with Brown. The Patriots are going to find out how much of Brown’s production is the result of playing on the same offense with Smith.

New England made it to the Super Bowl without A J Brown last season. The Eagles were eliminated in the wildcard round with AJ Brown. If Brown doesn’t have stats similar to recent years I’m certain he won’t blame his young, superstar, quarterback. Or the OC. Of course it won’t be because of his all time favorite head coach. He’ll “own it”.

Smith is a really good WR. He is not IMO a true #1 stud type guy. He just doesn't have that one attribute that makes him uncoverable. Very good receiver and yes can be a #1 WR on a tam that's not what I mean. What I mean is he isn't ever going to be a beast type guy like Brown can be and like we have 2 of that you can do everything you can to try and stop and he is still going to beat you. He is also a classy, likable, humble guy who does everything the right way, says all the right things and is a guy you never have to worry about and who always puts teh team first. I wish he was on my team. Great team and great person.
