You might wanna fine tune your statement because if he couldn't block it all the fact that he's been starting 90% of the snaps he's been in the NFL the Cowboys would not have a top five offense since he's been here I get it he's inconsistent He completely loses focus and has some bad plays that could get press got hurt but he's absolutely Ken Block or he wouldn't be in the NFL at all I mean you act like professionals didn't break the takedown and look at what he did in college and say oh man this kid can't block but we're gonna draft him anyway in the first round and we're gonna throw him out there so fans can just hate him../

That's right note the deep sarcasm I get it he's frustrating 'cause you picked him in the first round even though it was low in the first round he has the body type in the the physicality that we saw in Oklahoma even though it was a short term sample size You know a small sample size people in the Cowboys organization and his coaches and trainers think he can play if he couldn't block it all we'd have bigger problems than having one of the best offenses in the league last year I get it I really do He's one of the weak links on the offense but don't say you can't block apparently he can block just not consistently and well enough to be considered a frontline player..

It doesn't mean he can't get his development where it needs to be and I understand it's happening a very incremental and slow time frame and some fans get impatient but when someone says he can't block you act like this guy had been playing offensive line since he's probably been about 15 years old and made it to Oklahoma and I'm not a Sooners fan I'm I'm a Longhorn fan but I watched his tape and I see why they drafted him He can block actually he may not be able to block consistently and well enough to have a long career in the NFL but some of people still believe he can get it together..

What I am concerned about is his desire for this game.

The last five games of the season and into playoffs everyone is nicked up in some fashion.

Does he love football enough to play through this at a high level?

If you can't play with soreness and pain, you can''t play in the NFL.

We need the guy to stay healthy and keep our fingers crossed. I've watched a few interviews with their OL guru, Manyweather, and he thinks Guyton is poised to step up. Said he was poised last year too but got derailed by the injury. I get the feeling that he's going to be one of those incremental progress guys.

All we have is what we hear during this dead time. Good news is still good news. This entire offseason has given us all plenty to be optimistic about.

Guyton is an ascending player. Only question now is if he can stay on the field.
 
Yawn….. who cares what he says. Only thing that matters is on the field.

What if one is not a groupie, but rather is simply examining all the facts and coming up w/ a reasonable conclusion?

I mean, I haven't heard a single thing from the haters pointing to anything other than agenda babble about how awful he is. Not one has analyzed the fact that he was improving drastically last season before he sustained another injury.

The Guyton bashers are the groupies, dude. You have it backwards!!!!!

I’m pretty much on the Guyton has been awful side of things, but I’m open minded, and even hopeful that I am wrong.

Let me know the best game he had during this stretch of improved play. I’ll watch that game and the following game and report my findings to get a conversation beyond the same narratives being thrown around.
