Dont know if it was posted here, but there was a rumor that Boston didnt like Giannis's camp inserting themselves into the negotiations. Whatever that means. We probably have a week or so before he gets moved.

For Boston, there are reasons to trade Giannis. There are reasons to hold Brown instead. To be honest, Bostons fate as a contender hinges more how they shape there roster around there top two, than which of those two is part of there top two

Not getting anything for those guys is what was criminal. And in hindsight getting rid of Luka wouldn’t hurt as bad if they did it and had Brunson long term. I know I’m in the minority there because people love Luka. But I respected having the foresight that a Luka led team is probably not gonna win a championship. We could’ve had so many draft picks at our disposal.

But they made the finals with LUKA . Without him and getting nothing for Brunson the franchise even with Flagg is garbage . They have to hit on pick 9 . Critical .

Exactly. This whole thing that “Luka can’t win a championship” is complete garbage nonsense. He literally took his team to the finals the year before, and he was only a few games away from winning.

Before these last playoffs, I would’ve said that Brunson could never lead a team to a championship. And then all of a sudden he does that exact thing. So how on earth can you say that Luka can’t do it when he was literally recently in the finals, and he led the league this year in scoring average?

They made the finals with Luka and got throttled by the Celtics. Even that year you knew T Wolves and Thunder were right around the corner. What I didn’t know was the Wolves would trade KAT and the Spurs would get Harper.

The league is moving away from teams led by guys like Morant and Trae Young. All of these teams now have 1-5 have guys who can D it up and are athletic and score. It’s going to be tough to build teams around Steph or Harden or Luka going forward.

Yeah I like Gianni’s with Tatum and Brown. I don’t know if teams gutting their core is a efficient way to build a team.

How is to garbage when he hasn’t won anything lol? He was not a few games away of winning Boston destroyed them. It wasn’t even close. Had they lost in 6 or 7 I’d agree. Getting killed in 5? Doesn’t hold the same weight.

Brunson plays nothing like Luka. There’s a certain physicality and toughness that Brunson possesses that many don’t. I don’t know if Luka does. Maybe he does. I also didn’t see Brunson winning so there’s that. Probably wrong on Luka too. It happens.

Not saying this is true, but sometimes you sound like Rockport and Rambo.

When a player is on their team, those players are “great and one of the best in the league”.
But as soon as they are off the team, those players are “worthless, overrated, and you can never win with them”. It’s ironic how homers work that way.

Not saying that you’re exactly like that. But you certainly sound like that with Luka. It comes across as nonsensical sometimes.

Ok where did I say Brunson or Luka were worthless? I’ve
Been complimentary to Brunson. Hard not to. I always thought he was an All Star but he’s proven to be a superstar and I’ll proudly admit I was wrong on him. There’s an infatuation with Luka that I just don’t possess. Never have. Loved watching him and rooting for him but he doesn’t come before my fandom of the Mavs.

You know how things work here. If someone disagrees with you they are nonsensical. If they agree with you then it doesn’t matter what they say lol.

I’ve never said anyone was worthless lol. That’s a bit extreme. There are some players I personally don’t know how you build around and win. I just don’t. I don’t know how you win with Harden and Luka. I don’t know how you win with Carmelo. Doesn’t make them bad players. They will all go down as greats.
