No but you certainly overreacted to something that is minor. He even practiced the same day.
I hope he plays 17 followed by the SB

I think Howell will be a good backup. But hopefully we actually have a long term starter in mind....then again, maybe Howell becomes Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield for us.
Please no Sam Howell. We need a first round pick or a first round pick talent. No try-hards please.I think Howell will be a good backup. But hopefully we actually have a long term starter in mind....then again, maybe Howell becomes Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield for us.

I’m hoping Milton progresses but Howell isn’t afraid to throw it loo
Wasn't that Sam Howell that carved our defense up a couple years ago when he was in Washington? I stand to be corrected if im wrong.

Should make for fun preseason. At least we should have a good set of backups
I would agree with this, and I hope Dak can play the whole season (including, hopefully, the playoffs and SB)

probably my all-time meltdown. Because although it was surely a meltdown, he made absolute sense in what he said. And he was right about the Bears too!Wasn’t it Dennis Green in Arizona who said something like “ you saw who we are that’s what we are “ etc etc it was hilarious too like Jim Mora .
Tell you what after watching Joe Milton a little bit it’s like Forest Gump said it’s like “ a box of choc you never know what your gonna git “

This information is lazy at best. Just blathering "but it's a TEAM game...you blankety blanks!" explains nothing about HOW a team wins...or loses. A single play by ONE player certainly *can* make or break.
Yes...there are indeed many micro events through the game. But you tell me if this play doesn't seal the win:
And yes...I see he had a little bit of help but that's a one man game winner.
A mentally flawed gambling addict who bets on whether his team wins or loses. Might as welll throw a 6 at it.Solution:
Brendan Sorsby in the NFL Supplemental Draft.

Agreed about the defense doing their jobs there. I mentioned it in my post. But it WAS Jack...that made the play.Jimmy Johnson always said that there are basically 6 plays that usually shape most games. Sometimes it is just the way the ball bounces.
Sometimes a few different players are there to make those plays.
That entire goal line stand was great by OSU, allowing Sawyer to make that play.
I remember a few years back. The Eagles won like 6 games all due to ONE play. # wins were by the opposing team missing a last second FG.
Another win was by an overturned call the Vikings had for a TD. Which was questionable. But I think was the right call. Then the next play could have been a TD but the WR missed catching it.

I'm not sure there's been a QB drafting plan since 1989.Hopefully we have an actual plan of succession in mind. Got lucky with Dak being in the 4th round.
