I provided a thorough critique of Ray's work from a peer organization in the homeschooling industry.

You ignored it.

It's clear what you did:

1. You didn't like what was being said, so you jumped into the conversation.

2. You did a quick Google search to look for information that refuted what you thought was being said and came up with Ray's work to support your position.

3. You thought it was game over, and that's where your knowledge of the subject ended.

4. You've been burying your head in the sand because when presented with evidence that specifically undermines the evidence propping up your contention.

In theory, that's true (in bold).

However, that's not what the information from the link I provided did (i.e., "well, it was funded by an organization w/an agenda so it can be dismissed out of hand").

Rather, it comprehensively analyzed Ray's methodology point by point, offering substantive criticism of why his study was fundamentally flawed.
