Is there anybody polyana doesn't get catty with?![]()
Feels good to know I forced y’all to create an ad hoc “Has CalPoly Hurt You Too?” support group.

Is there anybody polyana doesn't get catty with?![]()

Luuuuulz, I thought you had me on ignore?Polyana knows how to respond to her name when it's called lulz. Don't even have to quote the young lady and she comes running

She really knows her given name lol. I'm not even quoting anybody. This is too easy. I should come up with another nickname for my pet toy

CalPoly took my “manhood” — You![]()

If you tracked Ray’s work, you would know he is far from unbiased on this point. He takes income and funding from the home schooling lobby.Google AI is a wonderful tool:
Homeschool vs Public School Academic Performance:
The home-educated typically score 15 to 25 percentile points above public-school students on standardized academic achievement tests (Ray, 2010, 2015, 2017; Ray & Hoelzle, 2026). (The public school average is roughly the 50th percentile; scores range from 1 to 99.)
- A 2015 study found Black homeschool students to be scoring 23 to 42 percentile points above Black public school students (Ray, 2015).
That, by the way, doesn’t make the research illegitimate. If you tracked Ray’s work, you would know he is far from unbiased on this point. He takes income and funding from the home schooling lobby.
I didn’t make a claim either way. That, by the way, doesn’t make the research illegitimate.
Either way, feel free to post evidence that public schooled kids are more educated and test better than home schooled kids. I will wait.
Also…..it was CalPoly who insinuated that homeschoolers are dumb. And I have yet to see one shred of legitimate evidence to support that nonsense. The burden of proof is on him because it was his idiotic claim.
I provided a thorough critique of Ray's work from a peer organization in the homeschooling industry. That, by the way, doesn’t make the research illegitimate.

It's 100% confirmation bias.I didn’t make a claim either way.
You posted research bought and paid for by the industry that it supports.
If you choose to believe that it’s unbiased, despite the fact that it’s been widely criticized by the academic community, you’re essentially showing your confirmation bias.
And that’s ok. Just don’t expect people to sign off on something that was transparently purchased by the industry.
Do you have any proof to back up your insinuation that public schoolers are more well educated and test higher than homeschoolers? It's 100% confirmation bias.
In theory, that's true (in bold). That, by the way, doesn’t make the research illegitimate.
